John Elliot is bemoaning the fact that Barrie Robran should not have been elevated to "legend" status in the AFL-managed Hall Of Fame.

As part of his argument he suggests that Stephen Kernahan should be more deserving, and says:
He played 251 games for Carlton and before he came over he played 136 with Glenelg. He played 387 games of first grade football.
Elliot has neglected to mention Kernahan's State Of Origin record, which further proves that he is a tool, but this is beside the point. Elliot goes on to say this about Robran:
He (Robran) avoided playing at the highest level of the game

So: Kernahan's 136 games for Glenelg were first-grade football, but Robran's games for North Adelaide - not to mention SA - were not.

John Elliot, you are an absolute TOOL.

One thing is for sure - Robran is a far greater legend than that arseh*le could ever aspire to be. That foul troglodyte couldn't run half a lap without horking up half the contents of his smoke-infested lungs. It is not his place to comment on the football abilities of other people.

Just point out who Barrie Robrans North Adelaide side beat in that Championship of Australia match in 1972 and he might shut the f@ck up.

Its a typical Victorian attitude.

Their league was bigger becasue of the population difference, but campare the top players 30-40 years ago in the SANFL and WAFL, they would've been champs in the VFL. As I tried to point out to the morons in another post, there wasn't the money in it like there is now. Players would stay put for family/career reasons rather than cross the border.

Good point about North being champions of Aus in 1972, Sturt took on Carlton in 1968 after both clubs won their respective leagues premierships and won. Carlton coach Ron Barrassi said later that he beleived Sturt was the best team in Australia.

I have no doubt if you took the Port sides of the 50's or the Sturt sides of the 60's and put them straight in the VFL at the time they would have been more than competetive.

ELLIOT IS A ********ING ********ER!

HE KNOWS NOTHING ABOUT FOOTY, AND WITHOUT HIS MONEY, HE WOULD BE A NOBODY

FULLY DESERVED BARRIE!

What else can I say.

John 'Jack-off' Elliott is an anti-SA, knob-gobbling, cancer-stick sucking (d**k sucking more like it), son of a bitch.

If anyone can add anything else on to the end of that, please reply to my post. I beg...NO...I WANT AND CHALLENGE YOU to put your most sickest and most noticable thing to call John Elliott here under this post.

GET THOSE INSULTS ROLLING!!!

You reckon JE is a tool? You are a fool. At least everybody knows who John Elliot is. Who the hell is Barrie Robran? Was he one of The Monkeys?

And who are you? You're "Uncle Steve" from "Snout's Bar". I can picture you in my mind - just another South Australian barge-arsed "expert". I bet when you stand up that bar stool gets lodged where the sun don't shine...

BTW, JE played 257 games in the Victorian amatuers - a similar grade of footy to the SANFL - possibly even a step up.

Get back to the village, Aunty Steve - they need their idiot.:p

Sound like typical local heroes running around in country and suburban leagues all over the place. Coulda, woulda, shoulda - but didn't.

Reality check: the top 30-40 might have got a game. But in the big smoke, we define Champion a little differently.

That Kernahan boy could play, but he sure talks like a South Australian.
