Different jumpers? How so - different sponsor? And we all know why that is. I'll come back on Monday and discuss "parallels".Bojangles17 said:I wouldn't be drawing too many conclusions from that game you dill, there are barely any parallels between RFC circa 2004 v 2005, FFS the jumpers are even different...do your homework and come back with all constants to the team that lines up this Sat compared to R22 2004...

Cool. See ya on Monday.Tigerland said:----------------------------------------------
One main difference between Sydney and Richmond supporters is this:
At Richmond we are aware that we're not a Premiership threat yet. We're still rebuilding. We have great youth.
At Sydney they don't know what the word rebuilding means... Still under the illusion that they have a Premiership side - Far from it... Swans will be knocked out in the first week of the Finals... and next year and the year after.
Yes do come back on Monday and we'll discuss who's got the best kids in their side - after Tambling tears your old slow backline apart.

tahts gotta be one of the most misdirected comments of all time.
mate how bout you start watching some AFL and not just dreaming.....
Richmond were having a great season, then.........nathan brown got injured. BAM. that gotta hurt. but you got yaselfs a better coach now and have shown some real good signs this yr just gotta get outa this slump and win some games with out nathan.

Records in previous years counts for squat. The Swans haven't played a game at the MCG this year and of their last 7 games, 5 were on the toy grounds (SCG and the phone box) where their boring flooding game is easier and more effective. The other two games were at the olympic stadium where they had narrow wins over mediocre opposition (Collingwood and Essendon). On big grounds this year they have been flogged by the Roos at Manuka and West Coast on Subiaco, and narrowly beaten Brisbane at the Gabba in round 3.celtic_pride said:Don't the Swans have a decent recent record against Richmond (In Melbourne)
The Game could go either way but I think the Swans are in good form (6 wins out of 7) and will be hard to beat. And Richmond is in a big slump at the moment.
Bojangles17 said:still not a very compelling argument, our game went stride for stride with the highly rated west coast midfield , none of those swannies you mentioned would hold a candle to them...a little like comparing a Hyundai Getz to a Porsche 911 dont you think.
I seem to recall us giving them a touch up last season at the SCG! during the Frawley famine era for what it worth...i simply fail to see where the knee trembles are coming from....
we'll be right....just the game to get us back on the rails
