A NEAFL practice match has already booked in that slot - Suns v's Lions . So Lions supporters can support 3 teams in a row....but not sure they'll win them all ?

3 matches... jeez. If this rain keeps up the centre square will be a mess by the time the Q-Clash starts.

More sense for spectators but unfortunately the broadcasters run the show.
Women's final time has been set by AFL as 2 pm Vic time for their TV - obviously they're bit pissed that Melbourne teams aren't involved. No forward thinking - assumed Melbourne teams would be best - totally underrated Lions and Adelaide teams (both tipped to finish last and second last)

Can't believe they haven't scheduled it as the curtain raiser
If the girls were polled would they rather play in front of 15,000 at a Q Clash or "standalone" match that honestly will probably draw a couple of thousand?

Have you played at Moorabbin in the 80s - that was real football. Metricom after 3 rain
affected games will still be will be a breeze by comparison ....

Well it won't be pretty TV if this rain keeps up which it looks like it will. Empty stands and a mud pit, a great opportunity to showcase the game up here lost.
I've always found that girls mud wrestling usually draws a crowd ;)

i pitty the brissy fan club for both the womens and mens games. The tittans are playing the cowboys at 8pm on saturday night. Busy night on the trains. the tittans game will finish at 930. a 7pm ball up at metricon should finish around 915. so no seats goin back to brissy

I think the AFL are to blame here they should of booked the AFL women's grand final last weekend when there was no footy at all. It would of got all the media attention and they would generated a very good crowd. now the poor girls will be lucky to play infront of 3000 fans and maybe wont get the TV audience they are expecting.

Yes
Then go hide in the toilets until the NEAFL starts
If that fails, take a hi-vis vest and put it on as soon as the women's final ends and look busy
haha nah I'm more interested in going and watching JT play rugby league on saturday evening as it might be my last chance to ever see him play
