Just putting it out there, but according to that list, Pelchen recruited 7 players for the 2008 GF. That's nearly a third of the team.

Also add into his achievements Mcglynn, Kennedy (F/S, so take it how you want), Suckling, Shiels, Savage and Stratton (inj.) who are all playing regular best 22 footy. As well as future stars in Shoenmakers, Whitecross, Lowden, Breust and Grimley.

Christ, should we even start the comparison to Carlton? It will nearly be as embarrassing as the Carlton teams of the past 15 years.

Really like your side this year by the way. A big chance of ending this winning streak. Judd has taken his game to a new level. Didnt think he deserved Charlie last year, but on current form, and if he stays healthy, will win it comfortably this year. No need to mention keeping clear of the match review panel. Just heard young Savage being interviewed on Sen, whilst he looks a good player and was very good on the weekend he needs a bit of work on his interviewing, In a five minute interview I counted him saying yeah about 25 times and then his favourite 2 words "you know" he must have said this nearly 40 times, pretty funny "you know"..
But not as funny as the Carlton flogs trying to pretend that they have it over the hawks in Drafting, pretty clear the Hawks have the upper hand when you look at the players listed. Has their ever been a club with so many flankers and pockets who were top 10 picks? Gibbs, Walker, Yarren could all easily make the transition to boundary umpires without changing any part of their game.
