I have been a closet supporter since formation. Being Perth based I had to choose a local team if I was going to watch AFL live. the "port" connection made it an obvious choice, albeit a tough one during the troy cook years.

I'm not the biggest fan of bothy the wa teams as I live in perth and can't stand the one sides media, however hats must go off to freo across the league. After the most important win in your clubs history, they still put a hold on celebrations to salute Jude Bolton. It was something they did not have to do and were well within their right to celebrate but they chose to be very humble in victory.

My tip for those that are making the expensive trip over to watch the game. Insure yourself with a $50 or so bet on the draw. Its a fraction of what your going to spend to get over there. If it does happen don't regret not being able to come back the next week.
