The farce continues.

Melbourne Demon posters continue to troll the Eagles and Lions. Why ?

- Rich has been a machine.
- Naitanui looks phenomenal.
- whilst Watts has shown nothing.

.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Never thought Id hear of a player averaging 1.7 kicks and 1 mark per game as 'phenomenal'.

LOLOLOLOLLOLOOLOOLOLOLOLLLLLLLL

So you're trolling a school kid because Naitanui was trolled first ?

Lame:thumbsdown:

At least the trolling of Potaita had truth to it.

Pathetic.

That's just like comparing rapists. Hmm what if one guy r*ped a school girl, and the other an early 20's woman? Is it still rape?

Knowing Jacqueline he/she will be running to the first (male) teacher and cry on his shoulder about the big bad mean trolls.

West Coast fans still seem to be living off the Naitanui hype from under 18s LOL.

I wonder if even they have seen him play at AFL level?

Yep, winning a game off his own boot and in the game's best 3 times. :thumbsu:

Phenomenally shit that is.

Kicking it to one teammate in the space of 9 games is probably a record in the history of the VFL/AFL.

Why don't you make that your signature, surely they can't get anymore shit.

LOLOLOLOLLOLOOLOOLOLOLOLLLLLLLL

Unfortunately for you Sheedy, Matthews, Hird and Buckley to name a few think Naitanui is pretty awesome... and thats before the last 4 weeks when hes been dominating the ruck. :D

Because the same couldn't been applied to the much heralded Jack Watts who hasn't shown anything in his performances, right?

Bet B/W Duritz and Grandflogger_B

OK Grandflogger_B, I have been in touch with the administrators of the highly regarded Australian horse racing and sports punting website, www.puntingace.com.au.

They have stated that they will act as third party and arbitrator for our bet of $10,000 on who finishes higher in 2010, the Brisbane Lions - with our fantastic list of kids who we've actually recruited and are actually playing - or Melbourne, with the imaginary oompa loompas.

You say the word and I am in. I have the money ready to go. Are you in?

No point in asking your footy club for a loan either Gramndmasterbator , they dont have $10 spare.

I'm only talking about this years spoon. But Watts is a great example of a superstar reward for a poor season.

It's great to get the best two picks in the country, especially since we are obviously better than 4 other sides (Richmond, West Coast, Fremantle, North).
superstar?

obviously better?

Wow.

Meanwhile, back on Earth............

When in January 2011 Jack Watts becomes the manager of the Brighton McDonalds, will Melbourne fans be declaring him the best McDonalds manager ever appointed?

You guys must really be spewing that we have picks 1 and 2 in the draft LOL

As Thomas said on FC last night, the wooden spoon is now the second biggest prize in football behind the premiership.

But not only do we have the second biggest prize behind this year's flag winner, we have the third biggest prize also - pick 2:D

Am I proud of it ? No. Am I deliriously happy we've got the 2 best kids in Australia coming to our club in December to join Watts, Morton, Grimes, Jurrah, Blease, Strauss, Davey, Garland, Frawley, Sylvia, Bate, Wonaeamirri, and Maric ? **** yeah :thumbsu:

And out of those 15 players mentioned 12 are top 21 picks. That's right - 12  Four are top 4. And the three that weren't are our exciting Indigenous players.

The list we are building will match anything the Gold Coast can assemble.

Don't forget we have pick 1 in the PSD too.:)

2010 starts the rebirth of the MFC, scrotum heads.

Grant Thomas... LOL. Is that the only job he's never been fired from? We all know about Grant Thomas' wonderful decision making:

"We've won 11 in a row. Let's go to the movies." LOL

"The wooden spoon is the 2nd biggest prize in football." LOL

Why don't you recruit him to Melbourne? Him and Dean Failey can joint coach! They can buy bulk discount passes to Hoyts for the players! You guys can talk about how great a club you all have together and how lucky you are year after year to be winning the "2nd biggest prize in football"!!

LOL at you complete losers who hold onto comments like that.

And look what those top picks have got you so far , spoon after spoon after spoon. And the worst number 1 pick in draft history. Lets hope Melgorne can screw up 2 more kids futures in 2010.

I can't believe I have been so rude as to not congratulate the Melbourne FC. I can't believe it. I guess with all the other events of Round 21 it just slipped my mind.

So, excuse my rudeness and let me immediately be the first one to congratulate you, the Melbourne football club, on your 12th wooden spoon, and your 2nd in a row now.

Well done, you now have as MANY spoons as you do premierships, though it has been 45 years now since you've actually won a flag. In fact, you've earned the honour of wooden spoon (ie, worst team in the AFL) on 6 occasions since your last premiership.

Therefore, in the last 45 years (nearly half a century... fair bit of time to show your true colours), your achievements are -

Premierships: 0
Wooden Spoons: 6

Again, congratulations Dees. Going great. :thumbsu:

If we were allowed to have extra money in our salary cap like Brisbane are, we probably wouldnt have finished last

Your judging a key position forward after one season.
Please name me one key position forward who over the last 10 years has done anything in their first season???

By the way with the quality tall forwards West Coast have he would probably be the best key forward you guys have:thumbsu:

Oh, right, so if you'd paid Andrew McDonald 10% more he'd have miraculously become not a shit player?

Duritz - Thank you for this thread. We're all refreshed and challenged by your unique point of view.

Some people might say that Bay 13 is becoming a Flypaper for any old mediocrity who can quote some 101-obvious statistics and then add some laboured invective - I do not share this perspective.

The fact that no one understands you, Duritz, doesn't mean you're not an artist in your own way.

You have my full support.

Biffinator

Some might say that your posts, simple sarcasm signed off by your name, are about as interesting and unique as Melbourne's midfield. I am one of those people.

Lets see.. Watts.. unproven.. squibs contests.. wouldn't know a hard ball get if it bitch slapped him.. shown nothing to date at AFL level.. struggled in his last VFL game before getting injured (sore pinky).. has legends of the game in Matthews and Sheedy claiming he is nothing special and doesn't warrant the number one pick..

Our talls..

Kennedy.. averaging 13 touches, 7 marks, 2 tackles and 2 goals this season.. excellent kick and mark.. has even flogs like Walls and Shaw who hate the Eagles creaming themselves over him.

M.Brown.. rising star nomination prior to getting injured.. 15 touches, 5 marks and 2 tackles per game.. can play forward and defence.. can play tall or small

McKinley.. 11 disposals, 4 marks and 2 goals per game.. quiet year compared to last year but has the talent

Notte.. project player who will dominate in a couple of years :thumbsu:

And then the wild card..

Callum Wilson.. beating Watts in kicks, handballs, total disposals, marks, tackles and goals per game. :D :D

Don't forget Quinten Lynch as well.

That was one of worst comments I have ever seen (the one about WCE not having decent key forwards) and I've been through a lot of these Melbourne v WCE 'rivalry' threads.

Melbourne carrying on about their priority picks is like a bum gloating about his bowl of cr@p from the Soup Kitchen. At least they have plenty of cutlery with which to eat their charity meal, I suppose.

That's my name for the Melbourne Football Club, the mighty "Soup Kitcheners". What's that Melbourne, you want moooooooore?

A couple of things, Flog.

Matthews never said that he wasn't worthy of pick 1. He said I've watched him for 5 minutes and am yet to see why he was chosen at pick 1. There's a difference, but I'll understand if the subtleties escape you.

Sheedy has taken pot shots at Melbourne and Garry Lyon all year because he was humiliated at missing out on the coaching position after going through the 'process'. Senile old drunk.

On to Kennedy - 3, 11, 7, 1, 6, 5, 6 - they were his disposals in his first 7 games. He kicked a total of 2 goals and averaged 5.5 disposals. He was the same height as Watts, but importantly 6 months older. Key position players take time flog, especially ones still at school with no preseason.

You're happy to call Notte a "project player", but get wood at the prospect of trolling Watts for not dominating the competition in his first year. Very flogworthy.

Btw, when is the Potaita going to get a RS nomination considering all those games his 1.7 kicks and 1 mark have won you ?

I reckon he'll get one this round or the next out of sympathy.

You have a big cry about poor little Jacqueline getting trolled unfairly because he is a young KPP and KPPs take time to develop.. yet you're one of the first MFB douche bags to troll Naitanui.. despite the fact that Naitanui is actually playing well in the eyes of those whose opinion matters.

Self contradiction at its finest.

Callum Wilson > Jack Watts  :D :thumbsu:
