Connolly reckons he would be a good pick up.

Plenty to like about AFL discards

Ditto Gavin Urquhart, who at least has some surety that North Melbourne will redraft him as a rookie if he isn't picked up by a rival. Urquhart hasn't been the same since injuring a knee early in 2010, but prior to that had impressed plenty of judges with his run and clean disposal off half-back.

Shocking article, really.

Agree. Clean disposal? He obviously didn't watch one of Laidley's last games against Brisbane. Long kick doesn't necessarily equate to good kick. I hope we do rookie him because he has shown that he can play the game, but at this stage I'd be more optimistic about a Speight and a Wright who when fit have really added something to our team, where as Gav has fallen by the wayside.

Yep and all that crap about Ben Nason.

Is Dalhaus the new Nason?

Is it because of the hair?

while dahlhaus isn't the second coming of jesus that dogs fans treat him as (I think that is more due to his cult status), he is still at least 10x the player Nason is.

Dahlhaus has elite agility (smashed the record at draft camp) and was pretty unlucky not to be drafted in the end, then played well in the VFL still as an 18 year old. Nason is a spud who was playing SANFL reserves and was a mature age recruit.
