Upgrading Palmer, and wanted all of your oppinions on who you think would be the better player

Like choosing between God and Jesus

Corey- Pros
7,000 cheaper
Averages more (by .15)
Been much more higher this year (meaning really high scores)

Cons
Got tagged last week, and suffered
Is second behind ablett for the tag
Is a bit wayward and could pull a 60 anytime



Bartel- Pros
2007 puts him in high regard
Dosnt need a stack load of possies to score high
Never rarely gets the tag

Cons
7,000 more expensive

Bartel. As you said, Corey cant really cope with tags and I have a good feeling about Bartel ripping it up after his well earnt rest. Had the same decision 3-4 weeks ago and based my decision on Bartel and his scoring capability compared to Corey when near full fitness
 
Had the same choice a couple of weeks ago (for Houli) and went with Bartel. Gets extra points (as you alluded to) with marks/tackles. Has been a bit below last year, but has the potential to increase in the 2nd half of season. Either way - can't really lose (barring bad luck) with a Geelong midfielder at the moment.

If ever there was a time to get Bartel it is now. Will enjoy the week off as there has been much speculation about an injury. He is also well priced. Has more upside than Corey and seemed to be back to his best in the 2nd half against West Coast.

Got on him for last round which now gives me the Ablett/Bartel combo... Im very happy to say the least. :):thumbsu:

Im lucky enough to have both as well as ablett:D, but if i were to pick one id take Bartel, purely because he has the ability get massive scores, while still be consistent.
