I am fine with gross misinformation being removed which I don’t classify as legitimate.
If you know of examples of factual and measured discussion on blood clots being deleted I would find that concerning.
But as I said previously, ultimately media organizations make their own decisions about what they publish.
I could be the worlds best citizen journalist but no media organization is compelled to publish any stories I submit.
Freedom of speech applies to my freedom to offer my written or spoken opinion on an issue - not getting it published or broadcast in the media, has nothing to do with my freedom of speech nor is it a censorship issue.

According to facebook claiming that the vaccines can cause blood clots is dangerous misinformation. Australia halted the rollout of the AZ vaccine due to this issue. The only dangerous thing is censoring medical information. People should know the risks of taking these vaccines.

Facebook has measured information on Blood Clots - egregious misinformation is probably what you’re referring to.
I’m not sure why it’s removal is an issue.

Fact is, we get no news anymore without an agenda behind it. Nothing we get is impartial, mainstream or not. Media are the problem, I think both sides agree on that. Trouble is, there's no money in the news anymore. Clickbait and hysteria drives revenue...

Bloody hilarious that people actually think we have locked down over cases, the reason we have locked down for a record 4th time is the exact same reason we locked down in February.......................

the contact tracers lost control of the situation and need places closed so they can catch up all the places they listed as exposure sites without needing to add to it.

The more they listed the worse it got for them when they kept adding places healthy people attended.

In 2020 we might have been the envy of some countries but from the Aus Open (kicking fans out because it was 11pm) onwards we have been a laughing stock.

UK has the darts on with crowds, they're all hammered. handful of masks can be seen (assume they are all supposed to wear them but clearly arent) and they had 3000 cases the day before. We've lost the collective plot with border closures, lockdowns, moved footy games etc over a handful of cases. We're ****ed, there's no 2 ways about it

Our government has had 16 months to plan for cases popping up and hasn't. We still don't have the capacity to handle 5. It's embarrassing. But hey, the government salaries get paid so who GAF right?

Mostly the latter over here I’d say. Most don’t see the ‘zero cases’ policy as sustainable. Things seem pretty stressful for a regular office worker or something in Australia. I can’t imagine being a business owner.

It must be plain to all imo that this is true.

Last I looked, there was 14,000 people they had to contact and I think we're going to be in lockdown for longer than 7 days.

How can you trust covid news? Die with covid-like symptoms, covid death. Die a couple of days after vax, just a coincidence. Vax was touted as being safe until they couldn't ignore the side effects.

Some you can but more and more you seem to have to look up multiple sources to find the real stories. I’d argue more that you can’t overly trust either.

I find it interesting that the most dangerous vaccine is apparently the one that is the least experimental, is the easiest to roll-out and is making people the least amount of money.

Somebody mentioned the fear angle couple of posts up. That’s a good point.

Anybody know how many Pfizer vaccines have been given or is the government hiding it? The number of deaths post Pfizer vaccine is higher than Astrazeneca.

I'd thought nobody could get Pfizer aside from health workers etc.

Do people know who manufactures their flu vax each year? Genuine question. If not, I am baffled at the hysteria over this one...

We never know who does any other vaccine, it's bizarre to fixate over from both sides

Where is that from? I’d rather see scientific report to be honest. I understand those can be manipulated too but just something with a verifiable source would be better than a Twitter post.
