I did an online module about the mortality risk associated with covid infection. I had a 1 in 200,000 chance of dying from it and my fiancee had a 1 in 250,000 chance. I believe it was on the Queensland government website but I cannot be entirely sure.

Good read. What can you say? People just prefer being part of the crowd. Interesting how they quoted Robert Greene and his law of power. Actually sums it up pretty well:

I've just booked my vaccine for the 26th of June to protect myself, my housemates and the community in general.
I don't want to die like a fish out of water gasping for air like the scenes in India.
I also want to avoid adding to the burden on Melbourne nurses and hospitals.
I know 12 people who have had the vaccine and the worst side effect was a headache that was fixed with a panadol.
We all know how many nursing home resident's died a horrible death last time and I don't want to contribute to that by refusing a vaccine.

Has the right to free speech (funny how that's selective now) so no problems with that. Just shows he is a dangerous lunatic with no idea about long term ramifications of enforced treatment and an inability to use logic to reason how it makes no sense in terms of the effectiveness of a vaccine nor an understanding of history.
And these people are the best and brightest on our TV screens. LOL.

He's not advocating them to be banned (I don't think). Entitled to his opinion just like you are yours.

You actually haven't. At this point a vaccinated person can still pass on the virus according to the experts advising government. So really you're housemates and community can protect themselves if they CHOOSE to have the vaccine.

Also less Australians (including those in nursing homes) died in 2020 than 2019. Deaths tend to be horrible. Where was this concern in the years previous for deaths from stuff like: Malaria, Starvation, hundreds of other diseases etc.

Yes you can still pass it on if vaccinated but it's less likely of course.
He can have an opinion but it's not cool to mock and insult people who have booked a vaccine.
There are people over 50 in this thread who are at great risk if they are not vaccinated if there is a major outbreak.

Correct. If people want them, go your hardest but lets not pretend corona is particularly dangerous for most age groups. Its proven in the statistics, this shouldnt even be argued yet somehow is
 
"Major outbreak", good grief. Get a grip man. It isnt the black plague. How do you get out of bed in the morning?! Theres lots of stuff more dangerous in the world, crossing the road is more dangerous. These cult leaders are a comedy act. Simply pathetic

Does anyone know of any overly religious preacher videos on youtube? Maybe showing those to the covid cult, theyll realize what they look like to anyone with an ounce of risk analysis ability
