Yeah, so much this. I don't mind Carlson but his reputation precedes him at this point.I did. Just saying that Fox is mainstream. Many would have seen this, but many would dismiss it because of the presenter.
Every single media outlet has intentional bias. Left, right, conservative, they're all there.Tucker has pretty consistently presented misleading or outright false information, I think he's well and truly lost the right to have content judged distinct from the messenger.
Everything he presents comes with an intentional bias.
My grandparents and grandparents in laws are in their mid to late 70s. Born just after WWII. Born after the war but probably pass away just as the dystopian Owellian future approaches. We've had it too good for too long, the lucky country. It's going to bite us on the bum if we don't watch out.
I'd never heard of him, but his Facebook page confirms the bad news. Only 54 years old. This is interesting. I can't really find anything much about this, certainly nothing n MSM websites, just a few mentions on forums and such. So it's either fake news or they are trying very hard to hide it. Either way, not good.

Sure they had to work hard as fu**, but outside of that their lives were pretty simplistic and easy. And now they have comfortable retirements. If only they knew how good they've had it.

More just pointing out to Owen that his point isn't specific to Carlson.Has it ever been any different?
My in-laws retired in their 60s (fair enough, not their fault that isn't really the case anymore) but boy did they have it easy with their income. Not only do they get an Aussie pension each, but they also get a British pension being dual citizens! This is my older siblings. One of them in particular had a govt job (as did his wife) and retired early (mid 50s) on extremely generous govt retired benefit superannuation pensions (don't think they are available anymore). They take advantage of every middle class welfare scheme going round (they got solar panels on their roof when the govt scheme was available for example, have negatively geared properties and so on). They are the stereotypical boomers. I love them but right now we are not talking as they are totally unsympathetic to what I have had to go through because of these lockdowns and have already had their jabs.

If you're referring to my reply to you, I don't think anyone outside the US or Canada would've heard of him until post 2016 election
Yeah media has always been manipulated. Boomers grew up being told to watch the news to "stay informed" so they may have a sense of false security in old media. All good. Just commenting in general really. Some people always seem to think journalists were better back in their day. I’m 41 and have never seen it. Always an agenda with media. They are a business looking to win like most others.
Nikolai Petrovsky noted from the beginning, after analysing the virus it had to have hit a dish. There was no way it had come directly from an animal. At the start I thought the narrative was that the virus was from a natural source ie it jumped from an animal to a human. Now it appears likely it got out of the Wuhan lab, (accidently IMO) and this was covered up, a huge story if true.
Confirmation bias is rife amongst everyone, it is part of the human condition, it is hard to override it when assessing news, we like to spin information to fit our existing internal narrative. You are correct, you take parts of information from many places, never disregarding any source. As soon as you do, everything cancels out the other and all blends into nothingness, you essentially have lobotomised your ability to understand.

I agree with you that one of the best modern examples of this is the "Orange man bad syndrome" Trump could have cured cancer and the orange man bad believers and CNN would have still found a way to paint it as a bad thing.

When asked why about other scientist, he said that many agreed , but fear of restrictions for future research they weren't willing to comment.
Nikolai has scoffed when being interviewed about the bat theory in subsequent interviews, he lays blame directly at the Chinese institute and government and has never deviated from this.
Now if you believe the bat and pangolin bed time story you will believe the death rates and the vaccination is the only solution fairytale.
The ignorance of todays human species have been exposed, and the fools bringing up Trump as a reason to cover their eyes and ears are the purest form of imbeciles. They can't let go of the fact they have been played.

For sure, Carson moreso than many though.
There's very few who report simply on facts these days.
They do. Not quite that old yet, but we still had the best of times, plenty of jobs, cheap housing (compared with today), great music and no internetMy grandparents and grandparents in laws are in their mid to late 70s. My parents and their contemporaries. Surprised given when they were at the age I am now anti communist anti totalitarian feelings were strong. My grandparents and grandparents in laws are in their mid to late 70s. Born just after WWII.
