Tickets to the Grand Final is an issue on it's own, the two competing teams get B all in the way of tickets allocated.
My query is with the other finals where the majority of tickets are snapped up by the two teams members. Why is the price so high?, are more staff employed at the grounds on these games?.
From my view the AFL is getting more money in tickets from these games, but is not outlaying anymore in additional costs.eg. extra staff. The added ticket cost is all profit to the AFL.
I'll say it again, for other than the Grand Final, a maximum of $10 should be added to the cost of the normal season tickets. For example a $35 ticket could be $45, not $80.
The AFL must justify the ticket prices.
