Agreed. Sometimes I think the contemporary supporter should get a hold of some videos of games in the 60s, 70s & 80s and maybe they wouldn't be so melodramatic about incidents 2010 style.

Players are copping 2-3 weeks these days for things that were just part of the game back then. An accidental or late contact in a marking contest happened all the time, and these days it's a "massive cheap shot"
