Pretty spot on.

Richmond - 50/50 could have gone either way.
Brisbane - Lost to the better team.
Essendon - Lost to the better team.
Adelaide - Oh dear. What happened to Adelaide. Horror year.
Geelong - Very innacurate. Lucky to end up with the win. Geelong will smash them if Carlton play finals.
Collingwood - Lost to the better team.
St.Kilda- No Riewoldt, No St.Kilda.
Port - Very very lucky win.
Hawthorn - 50/50 Hawks should win though by 15 points.

This isn't Bay13 - you are on the wrong board.

Just pointing out some facts.

How was the Richmond game 50/50? How were we "lucky" against Port? How are Brisbane and Essendon better teams when they aren't even in the top 8 at the moment? And how on earth is Geelong's "inaccuracy" relevant when we had just as many missed shots as them (both sides kicked 14 behinds)?

Convince me that you are not trolling.

The Richmond/Carlton match was actually pretty good. You kept kicking a score and getting a 24ish point margin but then Richmond kicked the a few kick goals in return and were always in the contest. The last term was basically 50/50 and you guys got away with the win.

Did you count the Geelong out of bounce of the full shots also? There were about 2-3 shots that should be kicked at AFL level. Geelongs misses were also ones that anyone should kick at this level but missed and there missed at crucial times. While most of your misses came from tight angles or running goals from 45-50.

The port game was lucky because they lead by 18 at the last term and they have a very good record for the final quarters this year. They just lost it. No one to blame but themselves.

Brisbane and Essendon are top eight teams IMO. Just a huge injury list at the moment. We're getting a few players back this week which should change a lot. We'll be back to our best after the mid season break.

Lol. Sorry buddy. The Lions aren't a top 8 team this year. You have one of the slowest midfields in the competition, and possibly the worst depth in the League across all lines. You're also incapable of winning in Victoria.

PS: Fevola has lost his family, has huge debt, and is not coping one little bit. Turns out he needed Carlton more than we needed him.

Facts like how the Lions have the depth of a wade pool, and will be lucky to scrape into 8th place even after selling their future by going blindly after Fev ???

Oh dear. We have good depth. It's just we have a huge injury list but thankfully most of the guys are back now and played great reserve games.

Bartlett and O'Brien are big chances to debut. Acorn and Sheldon continue to impress.

How did we sell our future exactly? Staker for Dalziell? lol no. Clarke for pick 60? lol no. Buchanan for pick 28? maybe. maybe not. Raines for pick 44? lol no.

Fev is a 2-3 year upgrade from Bradshaw who as you can see now is not fit with his dodgy knees. Henderson might turn into anything. Star or dud. Lucas is going to be a good player but there's just nothing special about him. While Bartlett just has X factor with his leg speed and that penetrating kick.

4-0 before our injuries started says otherwise. Our midfield is slow but that can change quickly. As i said before Bartlett is a good chance to debut this week or the next.

Are you saying Essendon weren't the better team on the day?

Your unluckiest loss was probably against the Lions, should have beaten them.

Essendon were better than us, or you could say we were terrible on that day.

The lions game was unfortunate, I'd like to think if Judd was playing we would have won....but what can you do. Brown was on fire and in those cases i think you just have to accept defeat.

Dalziell, the a player the Lion's supporters last year were claiming as a future midfield start after his RS nomination, is suddenly a dud after being traded ??? This for Staker was a FRINGE player at WCE last year :eek::eek:. Much like Bradshaw became replaceable once he was treated like crap during the effort to get Fev. JMAC, a player who was among your best last year despite your now constant claims he is crap ........ Hooper who was 6th in your teams goal kicking last year despite only playing 9 games...........

Just admit it, Voss' trading last year revolved around getting Fev to the club, so players such as Bradshaw and JMAC were forced out to create salary cap room for him ...... The funny part is if you compare Brown/Bradshaw last year to Brown/Fev this year then there is a WHOLE +2 goals difference despite the fact that Bradshaw played x2 games in defence last year ..............

You have lost the flexability of Bradshaw, who made an AWESOME partner for Brown and added flexability to your team, for Fev, who can ONLY play at FF and thus is stuck leading to the same space brown does (despite the preseason claims that they would complement each other perfectly) + all the crap associated with Fev + the loss of Henderson and #12 (if you honestly think Lucas is nothing special then you have no clue, which is pretty obvious considering half the crap you post on here) + JMAC (you would kill to have him in the backline over Raines).

Could say the exact same thing about our loss to Collingwood.

Of course you won't

You seriously do not watch any Lions matches. Dalziells disposal last year was horrible. Just horrible. That's why he couldn't break into the team last year. We traded a dud for a dud. We offered Bradshaw a 1 year deal three weeks before trade week but refused. He wanted three but there was no way we would give him three with his dodgy legs. After he wouldn't accept it we then started with Fev talk.

MacDonald is a decent player but makes too many mistakes. He can't get a game at Melbourne at the moment. Hooper is very talented but is also very very lazy. I hope he gets it all right at Hawthorn though. He's a good player.

MacDonald wanted out. We didn't kick him out. He knew he wouldn't get a game if he stayed because Hawklsey is a much better player than him and was already replaced by him during the season.

Not really. We recruited Staker who can play anywhere for the flexibility. He's doing an alright job at the moment. And believe it or not Raines is a better player than MacDonald.

Could say the exact same thing about our loss to Collingwood.

No you couldn't. Played alright for about a half of footy then got over run by the better team.

Could say the exact same thing about our loss to Brisbane.

Again, no. Smashed you in the first, second and fourth quarter. You only played well in the third.

Could say the exact same thing about our loss to Essendon.

You were never going to win it. Missed way too many targets. Basically gifted them the game.

No, actually it only proves my point. The Lions have horrible depth. You lost a few players and now you're Richmond MKII

But that proves that we're a top eight side without injuries. Trust me if you had the type of injury list we had you'd be worse than we are at the moment. We had our chances to beat Sydney and Freo but didn't capitalize.

Who are you currently missing?

Merret, Drummond, Charman, Clark....who else?

Merret and Drummond are extremely important to your side, you can see the problems down back since Merret has been injured and Drummond is the best ball user in the game IMO (arguable goddard). Clark very good Ruckman and can be used as a forward as well.

With those players in the team you would be playing a lot better but as mentioned the next tier of players just doesn't look good enough.

We have a few injuries as well currently. Walker, Bower, Mclean all injured...all walk up starts to our 22. With players such as Warnock, robinson, grigg and Henderson not being able to crack a game i think it shows that we have sufficient depth currently.

However take out Judd, Jamo, Murphy and Gibbs then we are in a heap of trouble

Brennan is very good also.

We lost Patfull, Merrett and Maguire (for a quarter) against Sydney and it cost us. They scored what? 6 goals in 10 minutes.

We also had a lot of outs against Freo. Staker was our main defender which says it all. Clark out. Brown and Fev injured and Brennan and Drummond going down. All those injuries and a two man bench against Freo. We were still very competitive and almost won.

Don't waste your time responding to Axel. He is a troll & nothing more. The reality is Carlton are currently sitting .1% outside the Top 4, while Brisbane are sitting outside the 8, with their percentage taking a hammering against the Cats. I know which position I would prefer to be in.
