Bizarre how they have sectioned off the suburbs, my GP as I said had to shut down his practice and his whole family quarantined. I ran past the clinic today and it was back open, must have been shut for 3 weeks at least.

You know, corona is pretty ****ed but at least when I look back at how we started the year with those insane wildfires - if you use your noggin and listen to the best advice - and that is not the stuff where folks have a preconceived idea that they bend statistics to substantiate - you will get through this.

The reality is this is the long haul - maybe forever, maybe not, but it's not over this year or next unless we hit the jackpot.

But it's better than a wildfire. Draw breath people, it's been one hell of a six months!

I'd guess the haven't randomly selected the suburbs.

Yes it's unlucky if you are in one - but it appears to be very targetted. They haven't locked the entire North Western suburbs.

They listed 3 suburbs as hot spots and they've basically locked down those suburbs and the ones that border them

Nothing but complete and utter bullshit, yet many will literally open their mouths and say “Dan feed me your BS, I’ll swallow it all”.

People are waking up, there’s a reason why a lot are rejecting tests, yes it’s a language issue but so many people are telling Daniel to GTFO. If you allow thousands to protest you’re saying to the rest “do as you please”. You can’t have 1 set of rules for one group and not another.

If you flat out refuse a test, you should cop a huge fine

Every suburb listed will be listed for a reason, but it's clearly targetted

I think it would be dangerous for anyone to think that the rules don't matter because they are near the edge of the locked down zone

They have said that they may have to extend this to other suburbs if the virus continues to spread - but if people follow the rules within these suburbs it'll mean they'll be able to lift the lockdowns sooner

It is .... Its not great for my wife and I but the decision is made and we will abide by the rules as we have done strictly previously . Hopefully everyone else does but not holding my breath.

I think its a matter of time until these 'zones' get extended out too.
 
So NSW is refusing to take any of the diverted flights from Victoria saying they already take enough international arrivals.

Sounds like it's going to be Brisbane and Canberra taking the excess. Can't imagine the ACT would want to be dealing with a large influx of people from overseas hot spots given they currently have no active cases to deal with

They've also only had around 600 people quarantine so far, not sure they could handle a big sudden jump

People are waking up to the fraud that is Covid19, that's what. Covid19 is a virus, it is circulating but I am confident there are a huge % of people who disagree with the measures and reactions from Governments regarding the overall response.

I wouldn't be taking any international flights what so ever... These people have had ample time to get back.

Not all of these people decided to come home a week ago, some have been trying for months. We've still got repatriation flights running because it's not been a simple just jump on a plane home like the old days.

Yeah, would definitely like more info on who these people are, where they are coming from and why they are returning now. Like everything to do with this virus, something fishy here.
