The Stamford was not a designated 'hot' hotel. Yet they had infected passengers staying there. To my knowledge, there has been no breach from a 'hot' hotel.

The inquiry has it's work cut out trying to find what went wrong.
Are you suggesting they don’t know what went wrong?

I think they do

The Tumour of Australian Media.

Frequently sued successfully for libel, fueled an actual race riot in Sydney and has brow beaten a generation of NSW and Federal politicians. In his greatest act of hypocrisy, however, he has downplayed COVID-19 to his faithful listeners while hiding away in his home studio in the southern highlands. So brave.

His tactic is not dissimilar to many posters in this site: doesn’t matter if you’re right if you say it repeatedly through a megaphone.

The only upside to Joneses media career is that it removed him from the boarding houses of elite private schools. Sixteen year old rugby players could breath a sigh of relief.
Abbott, Pell & Jones- join the dots

It's glaringly obvious what went wrong. Hot hotels worked! When they got overwhelmed they should have locked the Stamford down and initiated 'hot' hotel protocols. They did not.

Can I have the 3 million and save the 'inquiry'?

Tige listens to Alan Jones, hates politicians and is in the fitness industry. I believe those 3 are in the top 10 for "Things Bogans Like". Great website btw.

Set up by a one eyed Hawthorn supporter as well.

Have you lived on this planet? Have you never encountered some of the rock apes and dullards employed in the security industry? (apologies to those security people who are do not fit this description but if you don’t surely you have worked with people who match this description).
Yet many of these guards reported getting all of three minutes training! Who was supervising them! How was the state government doing their due diligence since March? No I don’t forgive them. This sort of regulation and governance should be their bread and butter.

What I find absolutely bizarre is that people on this forum are still trying to dig in and defend this premier when he is responsible for one of the greatest stuff ups in the states history.

It is the greatest stuff up in Victorian politics history

He should have taken his night shift role at the hotel more seriously

That's like saying the NAB executives should've been on the phones stopping the guys selling junk fiancial products. Poor policies are the leaders responsibility. If you feel that our leaders can wash their hands of such mistakes then you have very low expectations of people who are running our country.

Im sure if you tried you would find thousands worse

just put in a little more effort

Nope... A guy who has had a helping hand in killing people, making others sick and ruining business, jobs and the economy. This guy takes the cake.

It's pleasing to see the masses in huge numbers calling for his irritable looking head.

Andrews has a lot of support from people that can't see him ever doing any wrong, but I dare say anyone that was previously pretty 50-50 would have jumped ship. When we see Victoria crumble in the next 12 months, I'd be amazed if has enough support to win in 2022.

Problem is 2022 is a long way off. They will do the usual political trick of swapping leaders before the next election and the new leader will say 'nothing to do with me'.

Have we forgotten about the Ruby Princess debacle?

Nope. Funny how there was that debacle then when things settled down and it looked like the virus had run it's course we have the Victorian debacle. Which state will be next be next? My tip is WA or Qld.

Head should have rolled, Hazzard should have gone... The only leave pass they get is it was at the start of the pandemic, had they known what we know now they would have done things differently. But, I agree, there should have been a higher price to pay 100%.

We just move on to the next controversy.

What was the total number of cases related to the Ruby Princess? Would be interesting to compare to HQ issues with Victoria.

For the little liberal nincompoops around here, the social warriors that love DA, have a listen to what the real world think and feel about how DA's pathetic government has handled the pandemic. Paul Dimmatina, you are spot on, hats off.

Out and about today and all people have told me is he has got to go. Apparently anti-Dan signs being hung from overpasses on freeways too. As I've said before, people need to realise their little social media cocoon is not the real world.

Yep correct.. I had some Breaky in a cafe in Thornbury this morning which is obviously as liberal as any inner city burb and the barista and I were having a good chat.. his words “This is what happens when a Fwit is running the state”.. It’s the real world.
