These guys are all VFL level footballers. If they are getting games next year then we are going nowhere.

Stick a fork in them, they are done.

Bit harsh there big fella.

Marigliani was very good for a debut and Hardingham has shown a bit.

Didn't take much notice of Crameri.

Quinn was good in that final last year vs Adelaide.

I think Hardingham shows a bit. You gotta take into account these kids have absolutely no support, they basically have to go out there and fend for themselves, its not as if they can rely on quality experienced players to back them up and guide them through.

Hardingham - Has shown enough to suggest he could develop into a player.

Marigliani - Haven't seen enough of him, cant judge after 1 game. 50/50

Crameri - Has the hallmarks of being one of those just ok players. Nothing real special about him reminds me a bit of Jay Nash.

Quinn - Absolute nothing player. Delist.

It's starting to get a bit sad how Quinn's VFL form is considered relevant for AFL selection. Goes to ground every time he's near the ball, worse still, he lays on it.

Little upside to most of them, although I didn't see much of rigga's game today. Players you'd be satisified to keep as 3rd/4th best options for a position after your best 22.

But playing VFL players in the hope of finding a Broughton or Barlow is ludicrous. We had Barlow, and we lost him. We have to cut our losses and move on. :(

Quinn was always a project player.

Hardingham unfair. Its a bit hard to perform when the ball isnt going into the 50. You have to give him a chance not everybody is barlow.

Crameri and Marigiliani are the same you cant expect them to come into afl straight away and just dominate. Also this is why they are on the rookie list so we have mature bodies to come in if somebody gets seriously injured. I thought marigliani an cramerie were pretty good considering how poorly we performed. You have to give everybody a chance.

if hardingham had of kicked straight against the blues/pies we'd all still be singing his praises. unfortunately there were his first afl games at the 'g and he obviously struggled with the swirly breeze. didnt see much of the lions game but i'm assuming the supply was pretty weak...with the confidence he's gained over the last few rounds just playing AFL he's worht persisting with, wouldnt be surprised if he plays 22 games next yr.

saw flashes of marigliani and he could be a player, put the fork back in the drawer with him.

quinn/crameri totally agree...chump players, crameri's disposal is woeful and quinn is pretty much just useless in all aspects of the game.

Kelvin you're an idiot!!

Crameri 2 games
Marigliani 1 game
Hardingham 4 games

Agree with Quinn but..

Crameri has gone alright I thought. Played on Mitch Clark for a period of time today and held his own. Solid midfielder in the making.

Marigliani was super for his first game at AFL Level today and was one of few players that were clean today

Hardingham has that X Factor, great leap, great hands, yes he's goal kicking needs a bit of work on but he has plenty of time to get that under control.

They're down to the tail end of the list at the moment. Anyone fit gets a guernsey.

Hardingham might end up the decent mid-sized back we've been looking for for many years, ie the bloke to match up Le Cras/Johnson. Didn't mind his game. Loved the bump.

Crameri - Don't think he was ready to play this year. I don't have a lot of confidence that he will make it.
Marigliani - Needs to work on increasing his fitness but looks like he can make the grade. I would of expected he would of made it into the senior side ahead of some others this year.
Hardingham - Great jump and a decent set of hands. Surprised he played so well in the forward line (after seeing so much of him at the other end). I would prefer him in the side then Neagle.
Quinn - I just can't see him coming good in the AFL. He shows a hell of a lot at VFL level but always seems to fall down when he plays at Essendon. May be a surprising delisting at the end of the year.

Quinn, please just walk.

Hardingham looks like he could become a solid player for us..

Crameri can stay on the list, Marig to .

These are the type of thread that make we wish you had stayed in retirement Kelvin.

I'm glad you weren;t around sticking forks into James Hird after his first few games or Jobe Watsons as a more recent example.

Players develop at different stages so there is no way you can right someone off this early. It's much harder coming into your first couple of games in a below average side than coming into to a gun team.

Hardingham has already bagged 4 goals in a game so he obviously has some talent.

Both Marigliani and Crameri have shown a bit in their first games.

As pointed out Quinn is a project player and in a short time he has developed into a very good VFL player. There is no reason why he can;t further develop into a good AFL player with another preseason or two under his belt.
