I know what the freaking metaphor is. I just think it sounds ridiculous.

And you know what? If you actually listened to the entire 'Trying' you might see the meaning there. Try the entire lyrics mate, you might see the song is significantly deeper than that. :rolleyes:

Jason wrote this when he was 15, after his parents divorced. It's about trying to find his way in life and find out who he is. Duh. :rolleyes:
