Reminds me of TRON the movie sorry i'm nearly forty.

Actually, if you must know, it didn't take long at all. I use Pixelmator, and that has a generator that err, generates patterns (stripes, grids, etc) and this particular one was called "wall".

Then, all you do is change the colours, and voila!

I guess spilling that sorta makes it look as though the computer did everything, and I probably don't deserve the credit, but c'mon, are you really gonna praise a program...?

I'll see what other designs I can come up with with Pixelmator.

An idea for a Western Bulldogs 'Heritage' jumper. Just a little more in keeping with the Bulldogs look of today. And a Fremantle Clash jumper based on 2001's.

That Footscray jumper is far better than their current one.
I'd make that their full-time jumper.
You should send that to the club and mention why it's better...

---traditional dogs jumper merged with today's look but the blue dog matches better as a front logo like that, with the thin blue middle line part of the dog, and being blue it works with half being on the red stripe and half on the white stripe.

All over a far more symmetrical design.

I might mention this board to them for future reference. If they checked here they might find something they like.....

I'd seriously email them, in a serious manner with that guernsey proposal as a full-time one, not a heritage one.

Maybe start it off like this...

"Hi, could you please forward my email to the appropriate person/department, please"

And then briefly explain why that design is a go-er.

Sometimes a design is so good you just know it straight away.

That one is truly great because it's just a slight tweak but more symmetrical and aesthetically appealing---as a conceptual design.

Disagree - I find the negative space logo really offputting. But frankly no arrangement of that logo will make me think they shouldn't just stick with the two stripes and be done with.

But I do agree with Eagle in that the 50's Footscray was the perfect footy jumper and ideally it without the logo is a better thing than it with one.
But if they're going for that modern logo look, it works a lot better in Aidan's way than the current one.

Just so you know, I haven't got anything back.

I made some 'Hawks Cup' jumpers for my school, Rosmini, and our biggest sporting rivals, Westlake. I based them on the rugby jerseys. Rosmini are a pinkish-red and royal blue, whilst Westlake wear a dark green, red and white.

The Hawks Cup is a Year 9 and 10 schoolboys competition for budding young Australian Rules players all around New Zealand. Hawthorn invested a bit of cash in it.

I've been experimenting with different Hawthorn away jumpers:

Scrap the first two. The white number panels and full stripes just don't work like Collingwoods, Brown shorts must also be worn. Collingwood wear all white or all black - it works. You are proposing Hawthorn wear, majority yellow guernsey with brown shorts and white number panel for home, and majority brown guernsey with white shorts and white number panel. There's a cluster of similar colours in there, it doesn't work. Now if you proposed yellow shorts, or white, home and brown away then that's a different story.

I like the yellow stripes, white clash. Maybe see how white guernsey looks with yellow-brown-yellow-brown-yellow, stripes looks.

Well here's an obvious solution.

Also, Hawthorn's old jumper with a yellow back would make a clash jumper unnecessary.

Going back a long way, so a lot of younger supporters would be having "WTF" on the top of their heads. That's a con. Also, it may clash even more with West Coast. Worn with white shorts and Blue, Red and White socks. I'll slap it up in paint pronto, hang on.
