yeah, technically it was a tie, but in the last 2 overs, they were giving Australia 1's and 2's for their deserving sixes so yeah in all fairness the Aussies won.

I have a photo of the scoreboard. Essendon 127. Australia 122.
But the game was over after 7 overs. After Hodge scored his 50, Australia was 108 or something like that with 3 overs to spare. Then Warne and Merv started to put up catches for our boys. When the kid came on in the last over they were betting on Gilly to face at least on ball. But since he didn't they "Changed the score" so that it was close. But Australia really did have the match won.
