Reckon Akkaps and Boncer's teams are hardest to assess.

Given this is a test draft what does Nassau pitch play like over 5 days.

While we now must wonder if Boncer's side is losing on talent or on purpose with Hansie.

I didn’t exactly get the bowlers I wanted for the pitch. Shoaib, Bumrah would have been a good pair for the pitch.
But I like the batsmen I picked for this pitch, will all play well on it.

Outrageous slander.

BTW anyone seen Sanjeev Chawla? We were meant to have lunch?

Good luck getting through my top to middle order. That's all I'll say.

Kirsten, Smith, Root, MS Donhi. Good Luck!

Yeah but your attack will give up 500-600 😂

Overall a very challenging endeavour. Not only having to have multiple players thought of for each position and then have players you want taken but also having to tailor your method to your venue was not easy.

Tried to cater the side for Lord's. Not easy with Zim/Ban as a lot of their players haven't even played there, or in England for that matter. Imran Khan is one who you feel his record at Lord's doesn't reflect his talent and if he were to play a test a year at Lord's as a 'native' of the ground that his averages would move more in line with his outstanding career record.

Overall chose two things. 1. No spinner. Have an Aus/Eng centric attack and both nations in their recent wins at the venue have spin under-represented in wicket tallies. i.e. A spinner in a 4 man attack should reach 25% of wickets and this isn't the case in recent wins by those nations tested. And yes there are draws not considered but if your aim is to win a test match then why consider matches where pitch conditions or weather inhibit that. And 2. Chose to go with a 4 man pace attack + Mathews and with that selecting 7 batsman and wicketkeeper.

I feel if my extended batting lineup could get 350+ then the attack of Broad, McGrath, Alderman and Khan would get us a lead. Centuries down to 9 and a very potent bowling line up to support it.

I like your side , just wouldn't want 10 and 11 batting to save the test together 😂. But that's a great attack especially for Lords

Don't know if it's a coincidence but all of my votes were at the bottom of the draft with the double up early.

Here are my 54321 votes. 5 being best, 1 being 5th best

I am happy with my team. Middle order will pile on the runs, pace attack is great, best spinner of all time and Streak is handy as an all rounder.

Even if I ditched a batsman for my Bangladesh player he is solid at 6.

Mccullum can just slog at the top knowing he has Smith , Khan, Jayawardene to come .
