Anyway a big kudos to Joma making the Windies kits. Their soccer stuff is pretty decent.
Been using standardised fonts for ICC tournaments for some time now. I think the 2002 Champions Trophy was the first tournament that this appeared in.
Arial Distorted is an abomination.
India/Nike seem to sidestep the treatment with having their name as part of the actual design, and are just instructed to remove the sponsor for ICC tournaments.
The likes of Adidas and Asics aren't to blame for this typographic defacement. Someone has to get in the ICC's ear - any argument for 'standardisation' is rendered pointless when the test nations are the ones that cop it worse than the associates.

I'm not sure if this has been posted, but I think Scotland's CWC kit has a tartan patter on the players left sleeve (if not both)

It's pretty in-vogue in the AFL at the moment. I'm not surprised they've brought it in for a cricket kit.
Really though, the pic shows that they've done it well and that it won't impact on the design at all unless up very close, which is how it should be.

Australia's kit needs to be fixed, under lights the yellow looks lime green. Screw canary yellow, I want Aussie gold! My socceroos shirt from this year's Asian Cup is fantastic, it's the gold all Australian teams need to be mandated to wear.

So I opened it up to my absolute dismay, these seem to be PI or MW and have been cut up around the bottom hem and cuffs.
Also they were mounted by heaps of staples and thus the shirts are completely ruined.
