Tbh not much interesting kits in cricket aus lately. Bbl and national is underwhelming. Sa and wa are probably the out and out stand outs

cheers sir 🤙

Cricket Australia’s sponsorship is all over the place. In the first odi it was KFC on the ground and cricket .com on the stumps, today in Adelaide it’s NRMA on stumps and Toyota on the ground

Edit it’s nrma on the ground

Did tennis Australia used to run the old odi kit for the Davis cup?View attachment 2160157

I’ve got one of these, pretty sure it was specifically for Scud in the 2003 Davis Cup as he was sponsored by FILA. They had bespoke shorts as well! Lleyton Hewitt had his own bespoke Nike green and gold kit.

Indigenous round for Sydney Thunder and Adelaide Strikers but not for the other clubs? Is there a reason for this?

Clubs are doing First Nations matches, as opposed to a set "round".

Hopefully means we might finally get shirts with sponsors on them next season… (the sponsorless ones now look so plain tbh)

Well they may have a sponsor on them, but a big bright red one that will look dreadful.

Come on CA. Be consistent with the sponsorship on the chest or the one in the middle. Don’t just chop and change for home and away games. I feel like the big qantas in the middle will look neat in away test.

Either go back to having all tests on the right chest or a big one in the middle for all tests

I could be wrong but assume the size of the sponsor was part of the deal with Qantas and Qantas being the tight arses they are didn't want to pay for the bigger chest sponsor.

But it’s fine for an away t20 and odi
I put that down to those kits having always featured chest sponsors, where as they're still relatively new in tests.

Perhaps the current deal with Qantas for the away test uniform was signed before chest sponsors were introduced, as I can't ever remember us having one in an away series? Happy to be proven wrong
