I get to play gigs but no one gives a f**k who I am or pays any attention to what I’m doing, I’ve never been able to call someone like Isa Guha up next to me to sing, and I haven’t really tried but I’m pretty sure I could write a better song than Can’t Bowl Can’t Throw but who the f**k’s gonna ask me to record it

Every time I see a cricketer's "auto" biography I get the shits that this ghost-written bullshit can get published, while I don't have a chance of having (what I think is) genuinely well-written and thought provoking stuff published.

I would have added Tim Paine to that group but because he landed the captaincy kind of by default, he becomes a go-to pundit for a quote now when journos want a story and who pops up regularly on podcasts
