Given they moved him down the order to accommodate McSweeny, the answer would be no, he's not ahead of McSweeny.

Absolutely, we already know neither Harris or Bancroft are Test standard.

Better off looking elsewhere, even if an inexperienced Konstas.

McOpener deserves to be picked now.

I think McDonald to his credit sees that we need to start turning the squad over and finding long term solutions rather than stop gaps.

The fact McDreamy is also a state captain and future leadership potential, with the right temprament also would've played into his hands IMO

I like McDonald for the fact I forgot he was coach.

Refreshing to have sensible, forward-looking selections and not reversing over tried, failed options.

Hopefully McSweeney nails it. Ed Cowan has been pushing for Sam Whiteman. Wasn't really in the discussion but his last 12 months has been good.

I'm confident that the Redbacks juggernaut will roll on.
