To the selectors' credit, Labuschagne & Smith have both come into some decent form as the series has progressed. Both were in awful form previously, but both are looking pretty decent now.

It really is just Khawaja & Marsh who have failed continually this series.

Sundar isn't a test quality front line spinner. He hasn't bowled this innings at all yet. Neither he or Reddy should make the lineup as a full-time batsman or bowler.

Even Cummins can’t save him now, couldn’t deal with anyone ever from the Marsh family playing Test cricket for Australia in my lifetime again, the last 13 years with Shaun & Mitch feels like some sort of crazy failed experiment conducted by a unhinged Cricket Australia official in the 80s/90s on whether they could spawn future Test cricketers through a breeding programme with incumbent Test players and Geoff Marsh was their only volunteer.
