Anderson and Root put on 198 for England ~10 years ago vs India. 2nd and first place for Australia is Phillip Hughes and Ashton Agar with 163. (Remember Agar's 98, it was 11 years ago somehow.)

The kiwis love losing wickets in clumps. First they lost 3/0 in 6 balls, now they've lost 2 in consecutive deliveries.

Happened last time we had a big 10th wicket partnership against them too - Gillespie/McGrath scored 114 for the 10th, prompting the the Kiwis to capitulate for 76.
Current pair seem to have the opinion that attack is the best form of defence. Working for them so far.

Nathan Lyon must be Australia's all time most underrated players. You hardly ever see or hear a mention of him, yet he keeps doing his job every match.
