i think the top 3 from this year will be up there again!!

Ringwood are still young and arent the most talented but they are the best team and will keep improving and will be a tough side to beat next year with the kings,walsh,stray all turning into consistent players.

Carlton is also maturing into a very experienced side and should be up there have a few young guys coming through.. holland,buzzard,hankcock hopefull evan gulbis forgets his grand final and builds on what was a consistent season for him.

Fitzroy for them to finish 2nd on the ladder goin into finals was a massive effort considering how depleted they were at times with Nanness and mash (state) knowles (w.a) dickson, bardon and fagg injured.

but does anyone know much about the young guys they brought in auguastin the wicket keeper only went out once by stats avg 55 and word goin round he is good with the gloves up to the stumps..

matthew bremner came through in the quarter final when in strife and must have been on his way to his 1st premier ton left on 90* when geelong conceded..

Lee stockdale where did he come from anyone know him or his age my cricket stats say he is from gippsland and played like 4 games then straight in the 1sts and played well..

they have produced unknowns and it will be interesting to see how these young guys who burst onto the scene can handle there 2nd season

as long as mash stays and fagg and dickson are fit i think this could be the squad to beat with this talent pool and then there is glenn maxwell if he has another massive year.

Funnily enough, just before I was having a kick of the footy with a couple of mates. Anyway I saw a guy in the nets with his son, I ended up having a chat with this guy and he told me he was Jarrod Carlson, he won Northcote's B&F type award and finished 5th in the Ryder Medal count, really good bloke .

08/09 season was a break-out season for him, he did well for northcote, left hand batter aswell
