Itd be unfair.alright then, even though its not possible i wonder how good cripps would be with gawn tapping it to him.

Lets just wait and see how good Cripps really is when he starts actually playing meaningful games.alright then, even though its not possible i wonder how good cripps would be with gawn tapping it to him.
Hmmm it surprises me how mindless people can be. Do you think he has more time put into him when he's the only relevant midfielder, or when there's other people worthy of the opposition paying attention to?Lets just wait and see how good Cripps really is when he starts actually playing meaningful games.
It will be interesting to see how much time clubs actually put into him when/if Carlton get to a level of competitiveness rather than just being easybeats

Lets just wait and see how good Cripps really is ...
You can let him run around picking up non damaging disposals all day.If you haven’t figured that out yet, you’ve not been watching.
Oh wait, you infer opposition haven’t been putting time into Cripps already?
Ok. Definitely haven’t been watching.
It was pretty meaningful when we beat you and prevented you from making finals a couple years backLets just wait and see how good Cripps really is when he starts actually playing meaningful games.

It will be.Will be good to revisit this poll in 2 years or so. At the moment looks like BFooty agree with the AFL coaches and AFL players that Cripps is clearly the better player.
About 3 quarters have chosen Crippa, but I daresay it'd be closer to 90% of neutrals.
Oliver has just turned 21, played 50 odd games and received votes from both coaches in a winning final. What he's doing as an aggressive young inside mid with leg speed is insane. And he's only going to get better. Will be good to revisit this poll in 2 years or so. It's very premature to state with any certainty who'll end up the better player.
He already is.No-one is claiming that though.
But for now: If all goes well for Oliver, he could be one of the best players in the comp.
Cripps is already there.
I guess neither of us have defined the parameters of what "one of the best" means. He already is.
A B&F in a 12 win season and AA in a finals side is testament to that.
Not to mention he's the no.1 ground-ball player in the competition and top 5 in numerous other clearance categories.
He's also no.2 in contested possessions behind only Cripps.
You're delusional if you don't think he's one of the best players in the competition now.
I haven't done a ranking, but he's clearly in the best 20 players in the competition and would be one of the first players wanted by 17 other clubs if he was on the market.I guess neither of us have defined the parameters of what "one of the best" means.
Where do you currently have them ranked overall? Assuming Dusty is no.1
Top 20 for Oliver is fair - I agree.I haven't done a ranking, but he's clearly in the best 20 players in the competition and would be one of the first players wanted by 17 other clubs if he was on the market.
If you want to sit down and do a top 20 or 50 by all means. I don't have the time.
I don't think top 10 is out of the question for both.Top 20 for Oliver is fair - I agree.
Where do you have Cripps?
I think top 10 for both is fair too.I don't think top 10 is out of the question for both.
Oliver also finished top 7 in the coaches votes for the year.
I think top 10 for both is fair too.
Who do you have ranked ahead currently?
Cripps is a gun, would be a starting midfielder in any team, Oliver not quite there yet.
lol wtf do u mean. which team would oliver not start for? other than martin he shits on anyone at the tiges.
Gawn to Cripps, Oliver and Mitchell. Not sure if they'd lose one ever lolAgreed, Oliver starts at the coalface of every single team in the AFL without question. In saying that i voted Cripps.....but this is a great poll and almost toss of the coin stuff. I would just love to imagine how it would be having them both in the same team....imagine the clearance domination!!
