And rightly so although it's pretty difficult to tick off the names of 1,500 people. I would suggest they require those who enter to present a formal invitation or ticket on the night. That would solve the problem and get people in quickly.

Some supporters are the pits. At the cocktail party the other night, Lids left the main room to take a phone call outside, and he was sitting out there in deep conversation, head down with his hand over his ear trying to hear, when this idiotic young female came up to him, shoved her mobile phone in his face and took his picture. No wonder players don’t want to be around supporters sometimes. There was plenty of time for autographs, pictures etc the whole night – but she had to intrude on a private moment. Dikkhead. He was pretty cool about it - i don't think i would have been as polite.
