lol hand drawn pr0n?! Thats one of the most hilarious things I have heard! :D

I hand draw pr0n all the time .. saves me listening to my lecturer during classes ... :D

I have a facebook, and I am 100% certain that these images wouldn't of been accessible by children, just because each profile is automatically set to private, they would have to manually accept/decline people who want to be there friends ..

In any case ... over-blown .. reckon this has everything to do with that "monitor children surfing the net" compaign .. really hate that ad.

Adelaide players were busted with uploading pornographic "hand drawn" content onto their Facebook sites.
I'd rather lose a Grand Final by a record margin than have these clowns playing in my club, unleash your wrath Power supporters.

Haha, I got suspended from school 15 years ago for the same thing. I would do it all again. Much rather do that than lose a GF by a record margin.

HAHAHAHA a penis with arms HAHAHA classic.

Was probably just a drawing of Warren Tredrea.

It never ceases to amaze me how easily some people are outraged at something so minor all the while ignoring other more important issues like how does Mark Holden keep a job on TV.

The pictures sparked outrage from politicians and Young Media Australia.

Young Media Australia acting chairwoman Lynne Rutherford said she was shocked such images were posted on a website popular with young people.

Family First MP Dennis Hood and Australian Democrats MP Sandra Kanck said it was inevitable these images had been seen by youngsters, give they were on Maric's homepage during the week which coincided with the start of school holidays.

I don't see any people being outraged at this. I'm unsure why this even made the paper.

I do.

But like you, I have no idea why it would be considered newsworthy.

Don't ya just love journalism.....:D

It is the latest in a string of off-field embarrassments that have plagued the club this year, including a betting scandal, players breaking curfew and last month's alleged assault of a female outside a city nightclub.

  • Simon Goodwin bet on games other than those he was competing in
  • Ben Hudson and 2 other listed juniors missed a curfew by 45 minutes.....and dobbed themselves in.
  • Scott Welsh wacked a leg-humping flusie across the head with his jumper while standing in a nightclub queue.
  • 2 players posted hand drawn stick figures on a mates facebook page including one of a penis with arms.

......ummm - where does this behaviour rate in the context of everything else that's happened around the league this year ??

if this is a "string of off-field embarrassments plaguing the club"......I'm quite happy thank you very much

:thumbsu:
Mate, i feel that. That's the mirror image of articles written when Brauny dropped the f-bomb. "String of incidents" at the Crows, what a joke.

Must be a bloody slow news day.

It's funny what people are offended by sometimes. And generally the 'outrages' that make the least sense are often shouted about loudest.
My mum and I were working through some financial reports for a council we were both involved with. We needed a file to put them in - shops were shut, so we rummaged around an found a lever arch file my little sister had used in high school. Put it in that and passed it onto the accounting office the next day.

The day after that we get a phone call requesting us to come get it. That was quick, I thought, surely the work would have taken longer then that? Apparently, we were being asked to come in, pick up the file, and come back with a new one. Why? The people in the office were "horribly disgusted, offended and felt sick" because "it was covered in disgusting language and pornography" and were unable to work on it anymore.

Upon picking it up I discovered my little sister had drawn a little half-assed picture of a penis on there, and in TINY words written "Suzie is a lesbian". My mum and I were flipping dumbfounded.... but these people do exist.

TWO Adelaide Crows footballers have been caught out posting hand-drawn pornographic pictures on a website accessible to children.

The Adelaide Football Club ordered the crude images to be removed, condemned the players involved and yesterday issued an apology.
The offending pictures were displayed on ruckman Ivan Maric's Facebook homepage.
One – sent by fellow ruckman John Meesen – depicted a female performing a sex act on a man, while the other image, posted by defender Andrew McIntyre, was of a penis with arms.
The pictures sparked outrage from politicians and Young Media Australia.
It is the latest in a string of off-field embarrassments that have plagued the club this year, including a betting scandal, players breaking curfew and last month's alleged assault of a female outside a city nightclub.
The Adelaide Football Club emphasised yesterday the players were unaware Maric's homepage could be accessed by anyone registered with the publicly accessible Facebook website.
"The boys thought their homepages were available to only their friends and were taken aback (to realise they were available to the public)," Crows commercial operations general manager Phil Harper said yesterday.
"I showed the images to (Football Operations general manager) John Reid and the boys concerned, Ivan Maric and John Meesen, were spoken to and we will speak to Andrew McIntyre after the SANFL Grand Final (in which he plays for North Adelaide today)."
"What was drawn was inappropriate, in poor taste and immature and we apologise to anyone who has been offended by them."
The club ensured the images were withdrawn from Maric's homepage and it had since been blocked to public access, Mr Harper said.
"The club is disappointed in the players' behaviour," Mr Harper said, adding that they would face fines or match suspensions if involved in any similar incidents in the future.
Young Media Australia acting chairwoman Lynne Rutherford said she was shocked such images were posted on a website popular with young people.
"This issue is about the fact the images were accessible to young people, including Crows fans who would naturally seek out the home pages of their heroes," Ms Rutherford said.
Family First MP Dennis Hood and Australian Democrats MP Sandra Kanck said it was inevitable these images had been seen by youngsters, give they were on Maric's homepage during the week which coincided with the start of school holidays.
"This site is popular with youngsters and I'm sure some boys and girls would have stumbled on this home page," Ms Kanck said.
Mr Hood, a Crows fan, said: "It's only natural for young fans to look up their heroes on a website like this and it would be likely this would have happened."

take a look at your own players - didak/morrison, you drop kick.. non story.. was hand draw stuff and people shouldn't be stalking out afl players to look at their facebooks.. if you dont know em, dont look em up you losers..
