Current players to play 300 games

Which current players are a chance to play 300 before they finish up? I think Harvey got there already (or is close) but can't think of many obvious ones after that.

I'll make a speculative tip for the future though, Tom Scully will play 300

Dale Thomas is 23 and has played 111 games. He is just that medium height / lightly framed / springy type that seems to play more games than anyone else as well. Look at Bartlett, etc. Cloke's played 124 games and he's only 23 as well.

A smoky to get close is Leigh Brown if he can maintain form long enough to stay in the team. At 28 he has played 223 games and he'd need to play less than 20 games a season over the next 4 years to get there. Personally I think he'll be phased out by then but it's certainly a possibility.

He's in such good form for an old player, I'll only be slightly surprised if he reaches 400.

Perhaps the Sub rule may prolong a few of these careers. Use them as a shock weapon off the bench for a half a game.

If Simon Black gets there (which you'd think he would), he'll be the only player to play 300 games, win a premiership, Norm Smith and Brownlow (correct me if I'm wrong). I think that's amazing! Seems like such a nice bloke too.

No, Simon Black won it in 2001 and Nathan Buckley won it in 2002.
