In the end I have my opinion, you have yours.

All Im saying is to contact the president regarding your questions about the club. Its not whinging or making excuses. The buck stops with the president.

But dont sit there behind a computer screen and keyboard and start crap about a club you know nothing about. Its easy to do it on a forum, but be man enough to actually find out facts before you shoot from the mouth.

Enough said! Good luck for the rest of season.

FACT: Stuff all players are supporting the other clubs
FACT: You are on the bottom
FACT: The bench was emptied before the game finished? Find that unbelieveable?

FICTION: The president has the answers/buck stops with him? There are no questions it is just fact!

Were you there Eye, because I played in the game and when the siren sounded I was addressed by our coaching staff out on the ground, who I assume had wandered onto the ground from the bench. Some injured players may have gone and had showers but to say our bench was cleared is another lie.

So Therefore:

FACT - the bench was still there at the games end
FICTION - the bench was cleared at games end

FACT - the raffle was held some time after 5:39
FICTION - the raffle was held at 5:15

FICTION - Brent Laver was the only player in the rooms at 5:15
FACT - I was standing with Brent and at least 5 other players and officials at 5:15

I have acknowledged that the numbers could have been better after the game, but you knobs making up lies to justify your arguments need to get a life

All info gained from other posters - not there - little higher than Div 3. Your assumption above clearly means you didn't really know so I "assume" you would be a fair chance to be off the mark with the others.
PS What did they raffle? Who won it seeing you are the factual one? I'll pm the cigarette man to find out!

Surely there is better things to talk about on here than rubbishing a club for not having 50 players and/or officials present after a game..??? Yep you have made your point, thanks for letting us know. Next time we will try and get the city of Casey all present in your club rooms after the game. But if there is not enough beer/soft drinks for around 100,000 people then we wont be happy.

Yes Im being a f..ken smartarse, but this topic is a joke. We apologise for not having 20 or more people in your rooms after the game, We have obviously made a huge mistake. Its happened to us where teams dont stick around after the game (And Im not saying because it has happened to us several times, that we should do the same, because I am not), but we realize that the opposition have a fair drive home, they prob have families to get too, prior arrangements etc. We understand this, but we dont get on a forum and start bagging your club about the lack of attendees.

Im happy to speak to any one of you in person if you have concerns about the club. This will help us rectify our wrong doings and mend relationships with opposition sides. I suppose we have a lot more learning to do about the Amatuer culture.

You are such a wankr, you have no credibility. Coming on here with 'factual' second hand info - get a life.

Maybe you don't understand, but I had left before the raffle (which I bought $5 worth of tickets for) as I had to get my wet 7 year old home. My point is that I left at 5:40 and the raffle still wasnt done, have you noticed Nikko has gone very quiet since I have pointed out all his crap?

And I can tell you as a fact that our coaching staff were on the bench until the end of the game.

Well done though Dik eye:thumbsdown:

Going round like a record buddy - you are trying to push that raffle back further & further but FACT as it says on the large board, quote [and I'll write it slowly for you ] Raffle drawn at or before 5.30. As there were bugger all Saints present it was drawn earlier - the FACT you don't know what the prize was says it all. Referring back to your earlier post about last year - We stayed for hours last year - Puff Puff Hours .. You have no idea of time at all.

Have had a private message that indicates you are involved with the coaching staff [2nds] - now it is all clear. I know what number you wore but will not out you yet. Thanks DD.

Wrong again, not coaching staff at all - just a humble player. And I did stay for hours last year. Went straight to Etihad from your rooms for a Brisbane/Ess game and just made the first bounce. What is your problem?

Just for the round "record" I went as well except I went to the MCG because that is where the game was!! Puff Puff! One would think you could remember the venue (if you went) because of the game ending in a draw after the after siren goal! You are great with times etc :( What was the score at Etihad?

What are you on about Nikko?? Taskmaster has never sent you a private about Records. And Taskmaster does not even know who Records is. All I know is he is an SFX player. Stop making up sh.t. You have a real problem.

So........ Has anyone got anything we can all talk about that doesn't involve whingeing about blokes not staying behind after games and so-called tight-arses not buying raffle tickets?!?!

He has a point does Boycey, a high % of "affliation fees" would go to the C-D4 rep side team jumpers etc...oh wait.

Been a bit quiet here on this forum ove rthe past week. Actually it has been stoney silence. Has everyone gone up to the snow ?
Anyhow, selections for this week:
UHS-VU vs Elsternwick
Yarra Valley vs Power House
Ivanhoe vs Hawthorn
St Francis Xavier vs Albert Park
St Johns vs La Trobe University
Kew vs West Brunswick

VALE Elsternwick stalwart over 60 seasons of VAFA football.Graham Holmes lost his battle with cancer last night.
Many clubs throughout the competition would recall Graham visiting opposition rooms after games and thank them for their efforts and invite all for a drink regardlessof the match results. Always a gentleman, his presence at games will be sadly missed.

Great round looms this wekend. 1 v 2, 3 v 4.
A tight match looms at Doveton and the Joccas should go a long way to prooving their credentials this season.

Ivanhoe host Hawthorn, Intrigue abounds. Hawks or Hoes?
Hawks, just.

UHS v Wicks. Toss of the coin. Wicks.

Yarra Valley v Power House. Bushies.

Kew v West Brunswick. Bears.

SFX v Albert Park. Could be a danger game.Falcons.

Here here, a great man who I was fortunate to spend time with during my time at Elsternwick in the late 90's. A terrific person and thorough gentleman who was red & black through & through. Condolences to all at Wickerland. RIP Graham.

Hoes had a good win against Hawthorn who finished on strong kicking the last 6 of the game.

St Johns are setting themselves as favourites while we have a big chance to make some ground against Latrobe this week.

No real surprise to see St Johns win on the weekend down at their home ground. I agree with you Wamba -- a great win by the Hoes. Although allowing Hawthorn to get to within 8 points after leading by 7 goals at the final break was a bit disappointing. Another massive test for the boys this week against the Trobers.

Never say never Hawks. They will remain in this Div. to monster some clubs for a season or two. The Joccas will go to the big dance with the Brewers. Ivanhoe may have a say in that though. Yarra Valley are hometown heroes. UHS Vu, like Elsternwick, are injury ridden and each week sees new challenges. Kew must think they are cursed on the injury front. West Brunswick are coming into form and will slip the drop. The House have failed to flatter as their draw suggested they would be world beaters but simply, they are not. St Francis Xavier are not a bad club but must resign themselves to their fate. Like Mercury, they flew too high too quick but will be stronger for the experience in Div 3. The Falcons, well, what can I say? Nothing really. I simply have no idea.
