Sounds like someone might be interested in donning the green, white and black again!!!!!! Due to other commitments, Coops has stood down as senior coach. The club is going through a process to appoint the 2010 senior coach.

I have already got a reserves coaching job for next year but i might come back in 2011 i have already got you out of d4 i might come back and get you out of d3!!:):)

yeah good to see.....Ivanhoe Assumtiption are looking to annex your club in order to access your juniors. IAFC will lose their identity entirely.

Hi Max

Not a lot to come out of the meeting except a resolution of a group of people to take over running the club to have it continue in its existing form.

The clubs involved in the merger have agreed to a proposal to be put to a vote of club members.

Ivanhoe's members will meet to vote on the issue on November 18 I believe although I haven't received officila notification as yet.

Really not sure OC.

There are some people who think it won't get up, but just from talking to various groups, it is a real mix.

A lot of the old life members are for it, although there seems to be less of those in the recently retired.

The players seem to be split 50/50.

One good thing is that it is going to be by secret ballot so some of the more impressionable would be less inclined to follow what the leaders of the group are voting.

Theres a little rumour floating around that a former hawthorn & north backman is going to hit the park at this level in 2010, can anyone confirm?
 
Myself and a mate are looking for a footy club to play for next year. We were thinking of playing with West Brunswick. Is there anyone who could give us some info about the club? Will they accept new people to play? How successful are they? What sort of culture do they have down there (as unbiased as possible)?

Any info would be appreciated.

great club west brunswick treat everyone with respect , came over from interstate last year and threated me with open arms .nearly all players from country or interstate .and have good functions .trianing has started check website out www.wbafc.com.au

Hey Monkeys. WB is a great place to play footy, and have some good functions off field as well. I will Private Message you a phone number to call for one of the leadership group.

Obviously a great club, just can't get anyone to coach them. At the moment they are the only coachless club in the ammos!!!
