Have played alot of footy with frankie and he will be without doubt a class act in d4. Did not see him play for violet town but from what Ive been told a run in the bush has improved him out of site. Should take a hanger every week!

Clearly West Brunswick are favourites, everything else is up in the air... though I'm not hearing much good come out of Bulleen.
I'd love to get around and have a look at everyones training sessions
Don't so sure Waz. West are having trouble getting onto a ground to train.

Your Research is correct has been kickin around at Vt he is about 30 very quick freakish footballer. Huge X-factor didnt play too much for us last year as he went to the carribean and as for this year i think he plans to go over seas and the handful of games he was gonna play for us i think he will do down there at Richmond where i think he captained the club. Idolised by the younger boys he's a great bloke
Cobras have huge heart.....no doubt will bounce back but may take some time. Good luck to them..........been there and doing that!

Spot on Bonge69. He is a great bloke (Very quiet at times) and pushes everyone hard at training.
Just about to turn 30 I think.......but is super fit. Not ure if he is back just yet......but hope so!

How is Spanka going? Did he play many games last year? I know his 2006 was great 18 times in the best , right?
He played 90% of the games last season. He was our B & F in a horrible 2006 season. He's looking good again for 2008.

Cookson left the Cobras...with 3 games to go last year.
Was coming to play for North Brunswick - then decided to go back to Bulleen.
I won't go into the reasons why. I don't want to start sh1t with good people on this thread. Looking fwd to playing against them.

Ozza, the Cobras are looking forward to playing against the Nth Brunny boys for the same reason they've always looked forward to playing against you. A good hard fought game of footy followed by a beer and a laugh after the game.
We haven't seen Cooka as yet, but most on this board will know that he's a good player in this comp, so we're looking forward to his return.
Right.... good to know before the showdown in round one OZZA!

It seems that not a lot of teams are keen to play the mighty snakes in the preseason. Everyone wants to play on the same weekend. Easter has really thrown a spanner in the works for games.... Any D4 sides keen to have a run on the 15th of March?

65 is not playing this year as well... Committee responsibilities have taken over, no footy this year.
Disappointing to lose a few of the boys back there. No animosity there at all. Two of the three are likely to be overseas by mid way through the year. The other one has strong family connections back at Therry and understandable reasons to be going back there.
All three were good contributors to the club and very good senior players so it is unfortunate we've lost them for this year.
Great bloke frankie, top footballer with awesome skills at this level but shocking with the ladies. Saw him for the first time in a while on sat night and seriously bloody hopeless. What he needs is a good wingman!!
