Tunnel's tips

Would like to see SFX win but its been a long final series for them so I'm tipping WB by 38 points running away in the last qtr.

If Kew can be with WB at three qtr time maybe they can get over the line by a handful of points, will be close.


Dogs to beat Swans x 14p
Saints x 5g over Pies

Heidelberg 8g over Monty

Balwyn in an upset x 4g over Noble Park
Wantirna Park in an upset over Mulgrave x 3g
 
St Francis by 7 points. Yet to beat WB sunday could be the day.

Kew by 20 points. They were impressive last week and I noticed they had a few drop down from their seniors.

But surely, when sides play you at Bulleen, they should not wear white shorts. As in everyone should wear coloured shorts every week. To avoid anyone looking like you....

Don't you mean Umpire tunnelball? Seeing as you had the same one all year ;) Rhodes will fair bloody well is my tip as the same umpire votes for Lilydale every weekend.

Trent Hotten is correct we have 4 players playing in our 2's that played in the senior first semi against Albert Park. Our seniors did have injuries at the time so we needed players to push up from the 2's. Now that the ones are out they have qulified to play 2's. Anyone would think that you are worried about sunday's early game.

Gee, BIG call BIGWAZ. I'm not to sure how he would have voted after games but my guess would be 'FAIRLY'. Believe me when I say, he copped more sprays from our players and supporters than oppositions. He has and does umpire at levels well above our grade.

A fair bloke if ever I met one, but as with everybody else is prone to make the odd wrong decision no matter who is playing.

Thought he was certainly the most professional ump in the two's....by a mile, and pretty good in the ones.

If you want biased umps......look elsewhere.

too pc lakey. that guy has copped more abuse than any other umpire except ron from speaking to all the other clubs. controversy!

Very interesting question Tunnel. Although Rhodes is extremely talented I would exceedingly surprised if he was to take the prize. In saying this he has polled well in the past few years however I believe that the 2 week penalty and late year injuries would rule him out. At a guess I would say 4th-8th on the leaderboard.
Putting the modest cap on I would not think I sit in the same class as your Russo, Horne Dima. Sneako on the other hand played a major role in a number of key games - 8-9 times in the bests for the year and deserved a place at the round table.(manily due to VB being served on the night)

A touch unfair Bigwaz, making comments on only 2 games you have seen the Mountainmen play - keep you uneducated comments in those tight white shorts of yours.

Woah....first time I have EVER been accused of being too PC......and It hurts!

Just saying what I think. Thought he was really good at ressies level and good at snrs. If you want biased umps, there are about 4 going around at ressies level. As for ones level, they aren't biased unless you give them heaps of crap! We know we had a few players that behaved like kids /idiots and so the umps treat them that way. Sadly, it affects the whole team which then results in a "biased" umpire.........
If I got treated the way some umps do, I'd be charged with assult!

No RM, last year was Tony (can't remember surname) and in 2006 in club 18 we had Peter Cameron (AFL/VFL 6,451,321.5 games) who was and as you would expect fairly good!!
.5 of the game for Peter was when the lights went out at Waverley

Spy household is on the move as of today; so this could be last post for some while.

Now my team not in it I will give a prediction for the big ones on Sun.

West Brunswick should be to talented and to big for SFX. Great effort by the 'Micks' to make it in 1st year. West Brunswick by 37 pts after being comfortably in charge by last break. Dishon to be a clear BOG.

Ressies will be a good scrap. But again I am plumping for WB. 21 pts winners after pulling away 10 minutes into the last. Slight fitness edge I perceive the difference.

Greatest load of bullsh@t you have ever written WAZ,I have umped with the bloke several times this year and he is as straight as a gun barrel.Spot on with your comments about umps LAKEY,many on this forum could do worse than read LAKEY'Sback posts on umps,you may just learn how to handle us.
