Greatest load of bullsh@t you have ever written WAZ,I have umped with the bloke several times this year and he is as straight as a gun barrel.Spot on with your comments about umps LAKEY,many on this forum could do worse than read LAKEY'Sback posts on umps, you may just learn how to handle us.

So you admit that you become bias when a certain team gives you $hit.

RM of course they do, they are only human.

This was extremely evident last Sunday when your supporters and coaching staff gave it to the umpires all day, thus allowing 50 / 50 decisions to go Kew's way.

Your undisciplined efforts both on and off the field led the umpires to a certain bias.

I am pretty sure the 50/50's were going your way well before BHN supporters got stuck into the umps.

RM there is one simple rule in life that also is true for umpires;

Respect given results in respect recieved.

Also if an ump is copping it from all quarters, try as they might,it effects their concentration and that is bad news for all concerned;I have also said for years that I cannot understand why players and staff seem hell bent on abusing the blokes out there that are making the decisions that they have to abide by,it just doesn't make good sense.

Congratulations to West Brunswick...the best team all year and unlucky to be relegated. To SFX, welcome to Amateur football. You will, I'm sure, be an emerging force in the VAFA. Richard,Bruce,John and the boys, have a great time celebrating your success!!! [Dont Forget to thank your matchday helpers] See you in 6 months.

Tunnel's tips

Would like to see SFX win but its been a long final series for them so I'm tipping WB by 38 points running away in the last qtr.

If Kew can be with WB at three qtr time maybe they can get over the line by a handful of points, will be close.

Dogs to beat Swans x 14p
Saints x 5g over Pies

Heidelberg 8g over Monty

Balwyn in an upset x 4g over Noble Park
Wantirna Park in an upset over Mulgrave x 3g

7 winners out of 7.......was out on the point range a bit though!!

Hey, Hey, Hold on a second... I never said he was a bad umpire... Its just controvertial that he umpires every Lilydale game, which provides a perceived advantage. I have umpired in the reserves with him, and he's a darn sight better an umpire than me...

Congrats to WB and Kew bye the way... They looked like the premiers in both grades from the word go. Wish I could have been there to see it, but was too busy skiing :) I'll see some of you at the Vote count tonight no doubt!

It could also be perceived that the RC reserves had their best season ever under the influence of the same umpire every week.... but I would suggest that the credit for this success be directed more towards a consistant performance from Lakey & the boys.

And yes BW your right on the mark...he is a darn sight better an umpire than you but if you keep working hard well one day you never know, you may end up as good an umpire as he.

nearly every reserves umpire is perceived as slightly biased. thats why we don't provide our own senior umpires. pretty sure you'd be the only club in the vafa in that situation?
