No one has mention the Manningham Vs ESL praccy on this or the D1 thread, call it a morbid curiosity but I'd be interested to know how it panned out.

I wasn't there - but from what I understand both sides were not pantsed. I'd say that both sides would have not been within 10 goals or so, but the conversation I had indicated that it was competitive enough that both sides got something out of the day.

I was there and I played in the seniors. Let me tell you it was quick and the young players that Emmaus had just hit their target constantly. The difference in D1 footy to D4 is a quite a big step. :)

LaTrobe were OK. Should do pretty well and account for the bottom half of D4 pretty comfortably. Will struggle against the likes of McIndoe and Bell et al unless they have a ruckman they were hiding away.
Huge numbers! 6 quarters in the 2s and then running 9 off the bench in the seniors.
WB were comfortable enough until the final quarter when their bench was down to 2 and LaTrobe were able to get a bit of space around the ground.
Will be best ground in the D4 comp by a country mile!

Were WB at full strength, are they a better side than last year as they were miles ahead of everyone else in D4 last year.
I here that Latrobe have many smalls who can run and use the ball well.
Their ground is of AFL standard, I'm sure Essendon did pre-season there.

WB weren't at full strength (don't know about LaTrobe but it's probably fair to assume that no one is at full strength for a Praccy).
We'll see if WB are better than last year over the course of the season I suppose. Hard to judge so far.
Yeah, I heard Essendon did their preseason there. It's brilliant!

Geez you boys on this site really don't rate North Brunswick's chances this year.
Most of you are predicting we'll get smashed in the first round and end up on the bottom.

Gee I can't wait til it all starts.

not true. only stewie picked against you by more than 5 goals against a side that finished six places ahead on the ladder last year! fair enough i reckon.

AP by 40 pts. A couple a dead time snags will reduce margin slightly

STM/MC DRAW tough battle down there, football will be the clear winner on the day

Lilydale by 90+ pts over 9 players from BHN

Kew by 15 points

Swinburne by 50 pts in very dull/ordinary game of footy

NB by 20 points with the injection of youth to much for a aging Eley Park
