Some very hard work on the recruitment front at Manningham should see them placed a touch higher from what i have heard, which is great because it was looking very bleak a few weeks back.

Fair effort if there was no help from the committee. Would have thought the whole club would be working towards a similar goal? Where did the recruits come from?
New coach - Allegedly very disappointed with committee efforts this far in terms of numbers to training, practice matches etc. From what i've heard has worked his backside off to get players down, including a large number of ring ins for practice match last week - some likely types from what i saw - hopefully can sign them.
Really good recruiting effort - plaudits to Frank.

Going by the VAFA website Chadstone will have two Club XVIII sides this season. Guessing it's a glitch on the site, but if not seems a bit odd.

Not a glitch TurbaLonie. They had a massive influx from a cricket club (from Glen Waverley I think) and can now field a 'Seniors and 'Reserves' across both clubbies grades.

They share a ground with Mt Waverley Uniting so maybe that's the link.

Finally spied Matt Danson at training tonight and oh boy does that beard make him look even more ruggedly handsome... He got a good feel for the ball too, I've been watching for 3 years now i feel this is going to be his season!
