It's tagged a rumour, it says rumour only at this point & the tweet about him staying mentions 2 clubs were into him.

Not a great fan of the OP but it seems there was a basis for it.

Here what you're saying, but the thread wasn't initially tagged a 'rumour' from memory...had more than a whiff of certainty about it. As I say, some rumours give rumour a bad name, even if Dale found himself getting the attention of other clubs.

But if I seem a bit defensive about it all, I suppose it's because I'm relieved that he's not going anywhere.

I think you got that one wrong mate.

The OP seriously made some shit up there and went so far as to say that Tapping was appointed as a coach at St Kilda and as pointed out he didn't tag it as a "rumour", that was added later.

OP makes shit up all the time.

Yup. Mick39 reported that Dale was off to St Kilda, being a good friend of Alan Richardson's, and then went on to politely thank Dale for his service. The thread was re-tagged a 'rumour' only after Mick couldn't verify his info. Mick doth toss too much, methinks.

My own digs about ridiculousness of the rumours were not directed at your comments, for what it's worth. Mick39 has a way of conveying himself which seems to derive pleasure from bad news, and it was this more than the rumour itself which prodded me in an uncomfortable way.

But I'm glad you're wrong too. :thumbsu:
