Went to the game to night and he has lost it. Worst game I have ever seen him play, also that first shot on goal was worse then Vu or who ever that Carlton fan was kicking for a million dollars

Wasn't that a total joke. My arse that was a 'random' selection to kick for a million dollars.

We could always look at it from his point of view. If rumours are true he's got a guaranteed 2.8m over 4 years. He probably knows he's not going to get back to past glories, he knows his body isnt 100% and probably knows he isn't up to it at a top 4 side at the moment.

If he signed a 2 year deal at collingwood and delivered these kind of performances he simply wouldn't be in the team and wouldn't get a new contract, he would have very little appeal and wouldn't be able to command anywhere near the 700k.

So I can kind of understand why and how this has happened. Think we've actually dodged a bullet as he certainly isn't justifying 1/2 the reported 700k per year let alone the 500+ we were offering. If he had of dragged us through the mud, then stayed and then put in these performances the fans would be booing him big time.

I'm glad he's gone, as much for us not having to drop a premiership player who wasn't buying into the coaches message. It's clear the boys don't respect him which is the same as us supporters so it's best for everyone.

LOL I hate Thomas make no mistake about that but Pendles and Ball had lunch with him not to long ago, it was all part of getting the Pie fans out of their seats.

Dale Thomas is a dud footballer and that's just a fact, if someone disagrees with that opinion show his stats from his last three years. He has ankle issues and he is cooked, decision making is terrible and slow and that shot at goal in the first term was just sensational to watch. The same people that called him a dud and soft were out of their seats to clap him when he was lining up. Hang your heads in shame, your club has gone so low that softness and no heart is celebrated now.

Money can't buy success but it can buy surfboards.

This is going straight to the spank bank.

Have to say, loved the jeers tonight. It wasn't even our home game and it was thunderous, I don't generally applaud booing but it was next ****ing level.

His behaviour in the third quarter was just embarrassing. Stunning drop off from what he was a few years back.
Yeah I actually went to the game meaning to boo him, but he basically booed himself. He was so bad... and then the high, late contact on the ground just made me cringe inwardly. It was lamentable.

Right, Dale came, he saw a quality football side and it just so happened that they (we) conquered. He was also sh*thouse.

Time to ban all Daffodil related threads.

Definitely picked a guy called "Vu" so Carltank could say "they're not booing Daisy, they're saying Vu-urns!"

The boos he got were far worse than anything I could imagine. Like it was deafening and I was in the Carlton section. It was seriously bad.

When I said during the week Daisy would love the boos, I never ever thought it would be anything like what he got. I thought people were going to jump the fence.

Sums up the two people involved and the two clubs involved.

One is so soft he can not handle a boo, and the other will go down as a leged.

So good i could watch all night. Loved bally's reaction too
