Love it how Carlton fork out 1.7 mil a year for Dale and Mick to play kick to kick.

Have Carlton nearly become as bad as Melbourne in their player development?
I am sure Gibbs and Kreuzer would be decent players at most other clubs.
Now they have turned Dale into a diving dog that can't kick the ball over a jam tin.

It's funny that a lot of posters have defended him saying he helped us to a premiership and i do tend to agree.
However, surely, nobody can defend his actions and game last night.
He has almost turned into a complete coward. I am sure that's what ball and pendles are thinking.

On a side note, thank f*** the umpire had some common sense to not pay a free kick. Every day of the week last year he'd have been pinged for that.

Dale has moved on, and just like Malthouse let them enjoy their time in the wilderness. They made their decisions, it's time for us supporters to let it go.

No they don't, they are mates and have had lunch several times this year.
Collingwood players aren't going to like him any less as a mate because he left the club they play for, for more money but once you enter the ground they are playing against each other so for the two hours they are enemies.
Players come and go and they become mates and stay mates post footy so I don't expect him to be hated be anyone but as supporters the players are not our mates and we love the club so whoever tries to dog our club or do what Dale did along with crap he said about fans having egg on theirs faces when he signs for us and 4 days later it's basically a certainty he is leaving for Carlton will be hated.
My anger at Dale Thomas isn't because I am shattered we lost a superstar it's because of all the crap we did for that hack, everyone laughed at us because he played like a girl in his first four years and we defended him. He gave us two good years and once Mick left he couldn't leave the joint quick enough.
Premiership player or not, I will never like nor respect a player who does that to the football club I love and spend money for. In 2010 we had 21 premiership players, Dale is dead to me.

This is not a troll of Carlton or DT39 but a genuine question. On current form (ours and his), where would Daisy fit into our side? Bar injuries we have been pretty settled and there is absolutely no room in the midfield save for giving mids a rest. Our small forwards are performing brilliantly as are our backs. The only place I could see him would be back on the wing. The only two I could think of would be Bally or Josh Thomas. Even then, it would be a tough call.
I'm not sure whether it says more about us, or him.
