Did anyone else just hear MM on SEN a moment ago?

I thought woods were going to delist him anyway? due to chronic injury.
No.
But is wage at Carlton, though his career will be shorter, will be no different than if he stayed at the Pies for longer.
We weren't going to delist him, but we were not going to pay over the odds for a player who had not had a decent run for two years.

Hmm I doubt it. Wouldn't be surprised if he was offered a one year deal at woods due to injuries. Might already be gone after last year's output.

MM:“In reality, if you’re going to be really bloody harsh about this the loyalty factor finished sixty years when Ron Barassi left Melbourne to go to Carlton."
How many times did Mick change clubs again? Broke new ground by going collingwood to carlton the most bitter rivals in the league, then again he hated the woods at that point.

Heard this and laughed. Made me wonder when I'll stop disliking Mick. Thought it might be when he left Carlton, but that hasn't happened as of yet. Might need another 12 months.

There you have it. 1) Daisy playing for Mick. 2) MM apologises for bringing him to Carlton.
Vindicates those who said that if Daisy didn't want to play for the jumper he can **** off. Those lamenting his loss and blaming Buckley's new regime now have the real reason. Bucks had no hope of convincing him to stay with MM in Daisy's ear from the time he left.

3 year deal at 750K might have been a slight factor too. He's right that clubs don't show loyalty to players, so players would be crazy to sacrifice a semitrailer full of money for loyalty.
I think relisting Keefe and Thomas is the first example of club loyalty I've noticed in a long while but maybe there have been others?

One kind of loyalty clubs do often show players, which the Bears certainly failed to show to Adcock, is helping them to get to their club of choice if a decision has been made to move them on. Usually by trading them for a nothing pick they know they won't use.

I think we did that with Rhyce Shaw?
