This is a shockingly bad decision by Dallas, it's going to haunt them for the next decade.
I believe when we watch videos in the future about the worst trades in NBA history this will be on every single one.
Maybe I'll be wrong and this will work but you traded an MVP caliber player who is only 25 who just took you to the NBA finals.
Is there another angle to this (Luka genuine long term.durability concerns,.Dallas think that they can manage a bit of 'addition by subtraction' a little like the Clippers managed with Norman Powell, so that they reckon they can replace a lot of that production without issue)?
Davis is a topliner, but he has just as many question marks on the durability front, is considerably older and although he will benefit from playing at the 4, it places a lot of faith in Kyrie Irving not doing Kyrie Irving things and just sticking around and pulling his head in for any length of time.
Not even a king's ransom on the picks front, and that 2029 pick could be average if things click in LA. Nothing wrong with Christie,.but he's just a guy.
Just can't figure it out, if you want to move on from Doncic, get notorious shit traders involved and end up with a king's ransom at least, instead of locking yourself into taking what a single buyer offers up
100%, it just makes no sense.Could have got an absolute truck load from Spurs.
Yeah i don't get it unless they feel he won't be able stay on the park in the future.
