It was only a few games ago Elfred Payton went for 14p, 7r and 21a and he just got waived by the Pels. S*** franchise

I know we smashed Denver but today felt like the first time this Knicks unit just clicked. Completely made the Magic look second rate.

It was the most obvious danger game for Orlando. Just prior to the game the media started to give us credit, we got 3 players in that ESPN article "The 25 Under 25", Zach Lowe tweeted about us, and the game was put back on as a nationally televised game in the US.

That's way too much pressure for this squad right now. Just like how we ended last season 2-4 to miss out on home court, Orlando, right now, folds a bit when the pressure is on.

Reckon you're being a tad tough on your boys there, they're a pretty honest lot.

Certainly a lot more backbone than my Pels.

It's pretty harsh. I don't mean to say that we're awful, it's just an issue we have to overcome if we're going to contend one day.

I like your team. A lot. I remember previewing your playoff series against the Cavs last season, two teams with excellent defences and somewhat challenged offensively. It pretty much played out as expected, but your boys took a gut punch in games 1 & 2 and really responded well. Banchero really impressed me.

Same thing this season when Paolo went down, like most people I couldn't see how you were going to score enough points to win games, but you find a way. Too early to tell if you'll ever become a bona fide contender, but IMO you should be a perennial playoff team saving some awful injury luck or something. You look well coached and well grounded.

The Pels were actually in the exact same situation as the Magic last season, should've ended up with the 4-seed, instead blew a bunch of winnable games and ended up in the play-ins. Zion got injured in those play-ins, and look where we are now. We're flaky as hell, would never trust us to win when something meaningful was on the line. Orlando? I'd at least be confident you'd give it a red hot go.

Weirdly enough you seem destined for possible that 4/5 seed again, although you never know when Paolo gets back.

Magic are a legit side they are good and had Paelo out.

Not buying into excuses like pressure and pre game write ups. They just got hit with a Knicks line up that clicked and completely dominated them with firepower. Finally had a night against a very good opponent where our defensive side matched our offensive side.

I’ve got no doubt the Magic will be a top 2-4 side.
