I'd be pretty pissed off if I was a Richmond fan. Hardwick quit on the team mid season to have a holiday before starting with another team. I hope he wasn't paid out to the end of the year.

Richmond players are still playing hard and contending for a premiership, while their coach is sitting on a beach in Europe because he preferred to be fresh for the gold coast players and didn't give a shit about his Richmond teammates. How is he not getting smashed for this??

That's not really the feeling. We needed the change is how most of us feel. Coming sooner rather than later is a good thing, if you look closely, the players are pretty refreshed and playing well under a new voice.

Dimma gave us years of finals and flags after 30+ years of horror. He'll always be loved by the fans.

I don't know of 1 Richmond fan that is actually pissed off about this. It was pretty clear to see that it was time for RFC and Dimma to part ways and it was a nice, clean breakup and there will be no bitterness from either party. Everyone's a winner IMO.

The decision announced just after losses to the top 2 teams, having been decided before the 2 games and with the entire GCS organisation lying about it.

Hardwick knowing they are a pack of liars I assume has an air-tight contract to be paid in full as well.

Why? We're playing better footy since he left and with the BS soft cap restrictions, we'll find a replacement and still have half a mill free to spend on other areas of need.

Hardwick owes us nothing and gave us everything and more.

I reckon the players new and they didn’t like it. They seem to be more enthused and happy under McQualter and are playing better.

Hence I don’t think Dusty will follow Dimma to the GC. He doesn’t seem like the guy who would want to start fresh and make new friends either.

I don't get why Evans felt the need to fly to Italy to meet with Dimma. Why not just wait until Dimma is back in Oz in a couple of weeks?

This should be the story - if Dimma is a dead cert to GC, why are the AFL funding a jolly for Mark Evans to get a sun tan on the Riviera? I can only imagine the most awkward of meetings as Dimma goes running against the bulls only to have poor little Mark Evans chasing him with a contract and a pen.
