Swanny, my boy, is a notoriously slow starter, the thing i've loved about him recently is that he seems to be playing with some real passion and desire. Looks like he is loving every minute of his footy at this stage.

No doubt sticking it to his detractors increases the enjoyment levels. Seems like every season he is questioned early on and then proceeds to silence all the naysayers.

Fantastic game from Swanny on the weekend, I think it showed he is not a spent force and perhaps overcoming a poor pre-season and adjusting to a slightly different role. He is super dangerous in our forward half.

As a side note anyone else think that Swanny is "The Secret Footballer" writing articles in the Age?

No, all that was said is that he played in some crap teams & some really good teams, this doesn't mean he played at two clubs. Swanny has played in teams that finished 13th & 15th....when there was 16 clubs.

Fair enough, I got my info from the main board. I've actually only read a couple of articles but they seem pretty adamant that he's played at two clubs, they keep throwing up names like Judd & Dal Santo.

Having said that it is the main board so I'll go with you.

They are assuming 2 clubs due to the small crowds + large crowds and Poor teams and good ones. But this could also be the same club just in shit times and good ones.
