Oh Daniel my brother you are older than me
Do you still feel the pain of the scars that won't heal?
Your eyes have died but you see more than I
Daniel you're a star in the face of the sky

It's an Elton John song - Daniel

It's almost like Elton John was Nostradamus in predicting Daniel McStays time at Collingwood

Goodbye, Bulla Bulbrie
Though I never knew you at all
You started your trolling off running
When maybe you should have crawled
Adam H crawled out of the woodwork
And whispered into your brain
Then set you on a treadmill
Now you'll have to change your name

And it seems to me you lived your life
Like a candle in the wind
Never knowing what story to cling to
When the rain set in
And I would've liked to known you (actually no, not al all)
But I was just high on some bodacious sativa
Then your candle burned out long before
Your legend ever did

- Also an Elton John song

This sucks, and he's a big loss. Couldn't really be a less convenient section of the list to suffer an LTI.

However, if Kreuger can manage to keep himself on the park then this presents an amazing opportunity for him, and I reckon he can more than cover the loss of Dan.

I'm a big believer in Freddy. For me personally there's no doubt he's AFL quality, if he can just get some consistency with his health

I was in his camp for quite a while early days but the more I saw of him the more disillusioned I became. He is very fumbly and often double and triple grabs marks. I don't know if he has the ability to hold down a key position long term.

Frampton was close to breaking out in the GF. Had he clunked a couple of those marking attempts early on and converted he would have been hailed a hero.
He has it in him and I think the coaching staff should/will persist with him deep forward.
I agree. I think he was so fixated on being defensive, he let at least three goals slip through his hands. He could have become an all-time hero of the club had his hands been a little cleaner. As it is he just has to be satisfied with being a Collingwood premiership player till the day he dies.

To me Johnson really needs to stand up next year, and become a 30 to 40 goal kicker next season.
We do inject Schultz into our forward mix, who could himself kick 35 to 40 goals next year.
But McStay’s start at the Pies has been horrid, and wish him all the best in his recovery, and see him back bigger and better in 2025.....
This may open up an opportunity for Teakle to be one of the now 3 SSP selections....

I'll remember him as the prick who ruined the song Daniel for me.

Was a Jarrod Berry late tackle away from smashing through the 100 post mark.
