So he only missed one.

Maybe, maybe not.
And maybe WITH McStay we lose the 2023 premiership. Maybe he does his knee in the first quarter and we don't have someone to keep Andrews in check, and they get the 5 points they need to win.

30 goals would be sensational for McStay. I would be happy wiith 20-25 and a full season. Mihochek and Membrey to be the 30+ guys, that would be a flag winning mix especially if ND keeps.goimg up and can become a 20+ also. Lot of other avenues also

Lots of blokes who can kick a goal - I doubt any of them kick big numbers but collectively we've got some firepower: Hill, Elliott, Membrey, Schultz, McStay, Mihocek and yeah I think Nick as well as Jordy are capable of adding 20 or thereabouts from the midfield.
If he plays 20+ games then he'll kick 40+ goals. Our system and delivery is far better than Brissy's was and even then he alternated forward and back. What he gives us (so too Checkers) is a contest and an ability to finish the hard work of our midfield and defenders

3 or 4 guys kicking 30 would be ideal. Carlton having a big forward that kicks 70 in the H&A season and then decides that’s enough for the year means superstars like Matt Owies and Jesse Motlop are their power forwards in September. I reckon Sydney became way too Buddy centric at times too which became predictable. Checkers being Checkers, McStay the marking target, Shultz and Billy the medium lead up targets, Bobby and Beau cleaning up the scraps. Dan and Nick asking the forwards if they prefer laces in it out when delivered. Oops, January sycophant stiffy activated

Yep, it's all the different ways we've got to score - we'll be hard to defend because we 've got the players to score from a lot of different forward entries.
