Are the media reporting everything in this case, Dank is looking like a complete dill from what is being reported.
Does not make sense that he is continuing with action.
Is there any more detail in the Sydney media?

So Dankenstein was running amok in the NRL.
How come Essendon did Not pick up phone to ask Cronulla about this Dank fellow? Is he professional?
Cronulla would have given him a caning if they had been called.
Maybe Essendon did not want to hear this info as he was a reliable source for the good stuff.
Because he was Robinson's partner in crime, and Thompson trusted Robinson after he helped make the cats into world beaters

However, it has also emerged that Corcoran looked to hire Dank during his brief tenure as football boss of the Melbourne Rebels in 2010 when that club was being established. It is believed more than one playing recruit subsequently warned the Rebels to steer clear of Dank given his reputation, formed at a former Sydney rugby club.

Corcoran told Fairfax Media in a statement: "Of the many people spoken to in the search for a High Performance Manager at the Rebels, Stephen Dank was spoken to and the Rebels decided not to proceed for no other reason other than there were better applications. Troy Thompson from the Melbourne Storm was appointed to the position."

agree, that's why I asked.
Unlike Hird who appears to be the consummate micro manger overseeing everything Thompson seems to be all over the shop and more likely to delegate and not want to know the fine detail.
Not making statements but trying to understand the mind set of Thompson and what he would have known.

his quote doesnt back up your view

You're assuming that the UN ambassador is being wholly truthful in the Fairfax statement.

Diplomats are adept at speaking with forked tongues.

The source got the Rebels connection right but was just wrong on the why he was not hired . Yep sounds believable

Hird the consummate micro manager who oversees everything?

More like Hird the naive fool who trusts people to do what he says without him checking, thus not providing any overnight. Also from what has come out such as Thompson telling Dank to stop (in rather forceful terms it seems) after the hypermed incident Thompson was more willing to step in.

I'm pretty much of the opposite opinion to this comment.

Yes because he is fully going to admit it publicly. The quote confirms the story Corcoran had spoken to Dank previously while he was at the Rebels.
but it could be nothing more speculation by the author of the article really

We will have to agree to disagree.
Hird overstepped his responsibility, he drove others within the chain to avoid those who should have been responsible. Reid and the female staffer whose name has slipped my mind.
The texts indicate that he was wanting the up to the minute of what was happening with program and from Danks messages he seemed to be reporting to Hird on the littlest of issues which should have been no concern to the coach.
It was Hirds empire in a very small world. Golden boy had everybody kow towing to him.
Unfortunately they did and the rest is history.
If Dank and Robinson were told to report to Reid this would have stopped at step one.

If you look at the texts that Dank sent Hird, Hird replied only a few times? Agree Dank was reporting just about everything to Hird and everybody was kow towing to him, but that does not mean Hird was paying attention. Which is my issue with Hird, he should have been paying attention but was asleep at the wheel.

Never said he was a good micro manager, the results speak for themselves.
Maybe we do agree! Driving a car without a licence.

Lymphoma is no joke and all due respect to the Mannah family however there is myriad things that determine effectiveness or efficacy or any particular medicine.

The chemotherapy regimen may have been unsuited, dosage etc.

It is down to the the dna and gene mutations at the end of the day and peptides are used in medicine.

Umm the only times I've seen peptides given would be hormone replacements perhaps (as in the peptides used to stimulate hormone production) although in most cases we just give the hormone directly as its a lot cheaper and easier to titrate to response. I can't think of any others. MAybe because I'm just an ED doctor.

Or as I put it - actually doing the medicine to save people's arses instead of experimental shit.

It seems to be unravelling for him.

The above article paints him as a blithering fool with no idea what he's doing, and being a genuine bullshitter at the same time.

A far cry from the genius he tries to portray when interviewed by Alan Jones and co.

He can't keep track of his lies. Its only a matter of time now. Bankrupt the shit! I want him on skid row getting spat on by ice addicts.

Hird was implementing mission command, a modern intent based leadership model. He spoke about it publicly several times before 2013. Mission command is about telling people what you want them to achieve, not how to achieve it, and not micromanaging.

Unfortunately it also relies on you being able to trust your liutenants.

The tone of the messages seems to indicate that he wanted his finger on the pulse of everything.
May have set out letting people to do there thing but looks like Hird could not help himself getting involved.

tone of what messages? Are you referring to texts from Dank which are essentially one way as far as information goes?
